Book A Stay

Late summer 2017, I stayed at Hôtel Villa Belrose, a picturesque, luxury hotel located just five minutes away from the heart of Saint Tropez. This dreamy escape in the South of France is set in the hills of the Côte d’Azur, and this Florentine design hotel offers sweeping views of the bay and the French Riviera’s coastline.

Hotel
Hôtel Villa Belrose is all about the views. From the moment you step inside the marble-clad foyer, your eyes are drawn to the horizon outside. Check-in naturally takes place on the upper terrace of the hotel, where you can look down over Saint Tropez to your right and out across the twinkling mediterranean sea.

In the afternoons and evenings, this divine terrace is the perfect venue to enjoy a cold glass of champagne as you watch distant super yachts meander around the peninsula and moor up by the local beaches.

Rooms and Suites
Many of the rooms and suites open onto huge private terraces to soak up even more panoramic views and some sun. Each romantic room and suite has a cozy king-size bed, and the decor is classic. Bathrooms are marble with delicious-smelling Penhaligon’s amenities.

Pool
The traditional, heated outdoor pool is set overlooking the bay with bright blue lounge chairs, dining chairs, and umbrellas on the patio. See the cypress and palm trees rise up from the hill while swimming in the luxurious pool or basking in the Mediterranean sun.

Restaurant
Hôtel Villa Belrose offers a Michelin Star restaurant, “Le Belrose” headed by Chef Pietro Volonté, which houses just over 500 exclusive French wines. Enjoy modern Mediterranean cuisine with an Italian twist. Dine al fresco on the terrace overlooking Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez. Indulge in a seven-course dinner paired with exceptional chosen wines by the restaurant’s sommelier. Dishes on the menu include their beautifully presented cheese plate (this is actually 2 fragrant trolleys jam-packed with cheese), hand-dived scallops, octopus Carpaccio, blue lobster tail, and artfully plated desserts.

Adjacent to the pool is ”Le Petit Belrose” where you can enjoy an afternoon lunch underneath parasols and palms.

Gym & Spa
There is a 24-hour fitness center next to the pool and a small spa where you can enjoy massages and anti-aging spa treatments.

Even if you are not staying here, you must pop up to the Hôtel Villa Belrose for drinks on their magnificent terrace and absorb the amazing views.
