The Aava Resort & Spa is situated in Khanom, a small country town on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand and one of Thailand’s last unspoilt tourist areas; a total paradise of untouched beaches, swaying coconut palms, lush green hillsides, and limestone mountains. The hotel has a very chic air about it. The architecture has strong Scandinavian influences, which continue inside too. Rooms
All rooms include a Queen or King sized-bed, day bed, 37 inch LCD TV, mini bar, safe, Wi-Fi access, air-conditioning, and spacious bathrooms. There are 4 room types; the Deluxe Bungalow at 25m² includes a front terrace; the Superior Bungalow at 34m² includes a secluded, cozy garden view terrace; the Poolside Villa at 38m² features a huge 11m² terrace with direct access to the swimming pool, they are also situated right on the beachfront with spectacular views and finally, the huge Family Villas at 70m² with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room as well as a 17m² sundeck featuring a private Jacuzzi.
Restaurant & Bar
Aalto Restaurant is a fabulous fine dining experience; offering a wide range of Euro-Asian fusion cuisine, the chefs also pride themselves on adding an unusual flair or twist to a classic dish. The Aava Pizzeria and Bakery is a delightful cozy restaurant featuring a yummy selection of pizzas, freshly baked bread, and pastries.
Pool & Activities
A well-placed pool is vital, and there can be no better than Aava’s pool, right on the beachfront with wonderful ocean views stretching as far as the eye can see. With the pool bar offering refreshments and cocktails until midnight, with the lunch menu available until sunset, it’ll be tricky to find a reason to leave this little stretch of paradise! No escape-from-it-all holiday would be complete without being totally pampered at a spa. Aava Spa offers a real treat. The menu of treatments has been created to ensure you leave relaxed, refreshed, and feeling, quite literally, a world away from normality. The children are taken care of too, this is a child-friendly resort, and Nino’s Club does a fantastic job of entertaining them, giving you some much-needed relaxation time.
