Do Park Hyatt hotels have executive club lounges or concierge floors? No, they don’t. Even the best Park Hyatt hotels do not tend to have executive or club lounges.

Why? Because Park Hyatt is a boutique hotel brand and a club lounge does not fit the profile of this style of the hotel. In fact, we have personally stayed at a number of European Park Hyatt hotels that don’t have executive club lounges, including the Park Hyatt Paris, which does not feature in our review of the best club lounges in Paris, the Park Hyatt Vienna.

Which Park Hyatts Have An Executive Club Lounge?

The two Park Hyatt hotels we know have an executive club lounge are the Park Hyatt Melbourne and the Park Hyatt Canberra.

The Park Hyatt Melbourne overlooks St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fitzroy Gardens, and the central business district’s cosmopolitan mix of Victorian and modern architecture. The hotel is renowned for having the largest number of luxury rooms & suites in Melbourne (with 240). These rooms offer Italian marble ensuites and open windows.

Guests are invited to enjoy the award-winning ‘radii’ restaurant & bar, a decadent Tea Lounge, and Park Club Health & Day Spa featuring an indoor aquamarine pool, spa, sauna, gym, and private sun deck.

This Melbourne hotel is only 25 km from Melbourne Airport and is convenient to most city attractions around the city center. It is within walking distance to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), home of the Australian Football League (AFL), and test cricket, the world-renowned Tutankhamen exhibition at Melbourne Museum, and the best boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants, and theatre districts.

Noteworthy features of this hotel are the Aesop toiletries (which smell wonderful of orange and Christmas and really work, their hand cream is amazing!). This is one of the few Park Hyatt hotels in the world with an executive club lounge.

The club lounge is very large and feels a little dated but it is very good nonetheless. The lounge has soft drinks, coffee, and cookies available throughout the day, including cans and big jugs of juice. The evening snacks include nuts, cheese, cold cuts, smoked salmon, bread, veggies, cakes, and a couple of hot dishes. There’s also breakfast in the morning.

The Park Hyatt Hamburg is a great hotel choice in Hamburg with a great pool and a central location in a stylish undercover shopping mall. It exits directly onto the main shopping street and is 5 minute’s walk from the station, so it is in an excellent location and offers spacious rooms, but it requires a refurbishment. It has wonderful L’Occitane toiletries.

A club lounge on the seventh floor is in an open area with wooden floors. It is open for coffee and soft drinks all day and cakes in the afternoon. In the evening, there are light bites and complimentary alcohol.

Finally, the 5-star Hyatt Hotel Canberra, A Park Hyatt Hotel, has 252 oversized guestrooms, including 13 suites. Rooms here are of a similar quality to a standard Hyatt with no particular style. They are certainly not up to the standard of most Park Hyatt hotels.

The staff here are very good, and if you book a room with a club lounge, you get access to the Ambassador Lounge. It is well worth paying the extra fee for access. Unlike most Park Hyatt hotels, the Hyatt Hotel Canberra has a club lounge. The lounge includes breakfast and evening bites with a nice and filling food selection.

The Hyatt Hotel Canberra is a historical property with some beautiful architecture. It’s in a great location but lacks the sophistication of other Park Hyatt hotels within the brand.
