How To Get A Free Breakfast At Four Seasons Hampshire

Tips

Receive complimentary breakfast at Luxury Hotels

You may or may not know that if you book a stay at Four Seasons Hampshire or any other Four Seasons hotel in the world, using an official Preferred Partner agent like our luxury travel concierge, you will get two free breakfasts along with other fantastic benefits such as a delicious welcome gift, a prioritized room upgrade (subject to availability) and $100 resort credit.

Why Four Seasons Hampshire?

In our opinion, Four Seasons Hampshire is hands down the best family hotel in the English countryside. Four Seasons Hampshire is set in a beautifully restored Georgian Manor on a 500-acre estate in the English countryside. This great country house sits on the top of a hill and looks down over swathes of grassland and wooded copses. More modern wings have been built onto the house containing many of the rooms, and outhouses have been extended and converted to accommodate a stunning spa, two extensive pools, and a great gym and kids club.

The interior of this Georgian Manor has been beautifully restored. Marble has been used throughout, which gives the place a warm creamy hue. Enclosed glass walkways adjoin the manor and its various wings with underfloor heating, ideal for walking barefoot between the rooms and the Spa.

Four Seasons Hampshire is a large estate, and you can walk, jog or cycle around the grounds on the hotel’s complimentary bicycles. Popular activities include archery, horse riding, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, and playing in the adventure playground. Last time we visited, we watched sheepdog training with friendly sheepdogs and fluffy sheep! If you want to leave the confines of the vast grounds, you can cycle along the Basingstoke canal or to the cute villages nearby. More recently, the hotel has built an ice rink and treetop walk with a zip line which we hope to try on our next stay.

The Spa, located in an 18th-century stable block, is an absolute highlight. Not only do you have a fantastic spa for relaxation, but there is also a large swimming pool leading to an outdoor heated vitality pool and Sharky’s Reef for the kids.

The main pool, which is deliciously warm, is largely reserved for adults except during family time. It is huge and enclosed in a large Victorian-style glasshouse that is full of light and surrounded by comfy loungers. Kids can frolic in the pool at certain times, but this is an adults-only area for most of the day. Next door to the main pool is Sharky’s Reef which is one of my son’s favorite places in the world and is a wonderland for 2 to 15-year-olds.

Like many Four Seasons hotels, this hotel seamlessly combines a stylish retreat for adults with a brilliant place to stay for children. At this Hampshire outpost, you have a super spa, fine dining, country walks, and a host of county pursuits like riding, but you also have a huge pool, a second children’s adventure pool, an adventure play park, and a great kids club. This means that the whole family can enjoy the indulgent break, and unlike many hotels in England, children (and dogs!) are welcome in this luxury hotel.

Four Seasons Breakfast Options

The breakfast at Four Seasons Hampshire can be a little daunting. It comes free when you book via our luxury concierge. However, it is unclear what is and isn’t included if you head down to the buffet at the Wild Carrot. So I have compiled a comprehensive guide below to help you avoid any confusion or unwanted charges.

At the time of writing, if you book via an official Preferred Partner agent like ourselves, you have two main breakfast choices:

Firstly your breakfast can be delivered via in-room dining. Your breakfast items can be chosen from the comprehensive menu which is left in your room every evening. You simply fill out the form, including when you want your breakfast delivered, stick it on the door handle outside your room that evening, and your breakfast will be delivered to you at the correct time the following morning. When you book via our Preferred partnership, you have up to $100 USD (around 82 GBP) included to spend on breakfast for two people but this does not include the additional £5 service charge, which covers the cost of having your breakfast delivered to your room.

Your other option is to enjoy the extravagant buffet breakfast at the Wild Carrot. Now, this can be confusing as the buffet is all included, and you will also have a menu on your table which offers you drinks for a fee and dishes from the kitchen, such as Eggs Benedict, also for a fee.

So which are included? Breakfast drinks like orange juice or coffee and tea are included as part of the buffet offering. Even though they are chargeable on the menu, they are free of charge if you have the buffet included. You will not be charged extra for these. But specific drinks items such as a detailed green juice or champagne are likely chargeable.

All the a la carte food dishes on the menu are available for an extra fee as per the menu. So for complimentary food, you are restricted to the generous array of dishes provided in the buffet.

The $100 resort credit you get by booking via our agency can be spent in the bar and restaurant during the day and in the evening. If you order food and are traveling with children under 5, any food you order for them from the kids menu is free.

So there you have it. Hopefully, this article clears up any confusion about the breakfast offering at Four Seasons Hampshire. If you have any further questions, always feel free to contact our experts for answers.
