There are several Royal Silk lounges spread throughout Bangkok airport, but the main one, which can accommodate the largest number of passengers (more than 300 at the same time), is located in Concourse D, and this is the one I reviewed before an Austrian Airlines B777 Business Class Review Bangkok to Vienna.

The Thai Airways Royal Silk Business Class lounge at Bangkok Airport (also called Suvarnabhumi Airport) is large, with plenty of seating options and a few food stations. At these buffets, you can choose from various hot and cold food options (e.g., wonton soup, New Orleans chicken wings, salads, sandwiches), fruits, snacks, and refreshments.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the concourse’s massive interior spaces, but there is no outdoor window to observe the tarmac traffic. Complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi is available to all guests. There is also a kid’s corner if you are traveling with young children. This lounge is fine and functional but not noteworthy, especially considering that this is the flagship Business Class lounge of Thai Airways, this airport being its main hub.

From the lounge, it was a 10-minute walk to gate D6, where the Austrian Airlines Boeing 777-200ER was ready for boarding.
