To fly or not to fly! Many travel bloggers have a love-hate relationship with American Airlines. On the one hand, it is convenient with a decent international Business and First Class product. On the other hand, American’s constant effort to save money means that its domestic product keeps going downhill with densified cabins, thin foam seats, and a general lack of love.

Flyers Hate:

The densified American Airlines domestic product has less legroom than ever before.
The lack of communication about delays when compared to other airlines.

Flyers Like:

Their consistently good high-speed internet, American and Delta being light years ahead of United.
Their route network as they are often more convenient.
Their airport lounges. American lounges are open to transcon business class customers as well as elites flying internationally and mid-tier partner elites flying domestically. United’s Polaris lounges are better than American’s Flagship Lounges, from food to design, but are only available to long-haul Business Class customers.
