Receive complimentary breakfast at Luxury Hotels
Is there anything more dreamy than lazing in a bath full of bubbles under the night sky. The hotels and villas below offer amazing outdoor bathrooms where you can luxuriate in your outdoor bathtub without having to give up any of the luxuries you would expect from a high end hotel.
In the number one spot is the bathroom at Raiwasa Grand Villa in Fiji (pictured above). It also offers an amazing infinity pool looking over the bay, awesome 180-degree views over the bay, swaying palm trees and fabulously colourful tropical flowers. The master bedroom bathtub is outside. Bliss.
Number 2 is the Four Seasons Hualalai on Hawaii’s Big Island. Admittedly, the bathtub here is inside but most Oceanview rooms include an outdoor lava-rock shower extending beyond the bathroom and we have personally tried this Four Seasons resort and can vouch that this shower is superbly fun.
Number 3 is the green claw foot tub found in the villa’s master bathroom at The Goldeneye Hotel, Fleming Villa in Jamaica. The bathroom is in fact a decked private patio set beneath the tropical trees. Ian Fleming wrote most of the James Bond novels here, so perhaps the outdoor bathing will inspire your writing skills?
Number 4 and our final choice is Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. The Rock Pool Villas on this private island near Nha Trang, not only come with plunge pools, but also open bathrooms with tubs looking straight down on the East Vietnam Sea (pictured above).
