if you are searching for a remote villa where light pollution isn’t a problem and where you can look up to the heavens and gaze at the stars, look no further. We have picked the most amazing villas in the word for stargazing.
In our number one spot is the simply glorious Raiwasa Grand Villa in Fiji (pictured above) with an amazing infinity pool looking over the bay. Located on Taveuni; the “garden island” of Fiji, it’s perched high above the South Pacific, with awesome 180-degree views overlooking the Somosomo Straight. Surrounding the villa is a lush tropical carpet of green rainforest, swaying palm trees and fabulously colourful tropical flowers. Expect spectacular sunsets and with the total lack of light pollution at night, this villa falls asleep under a blanket of stars.
In position two is Meridian House in Costa Rica which is a brilliant place to star-watch as long as the clouds don’t come down.
In position three is El Alma Soul Retreat is set in the mountains of Costa Rica and really is in the middle of nowhere. The extensive views offered by it’s hilltop location and the fact that there is no light pollution in the surrounding rainforest means that this is an epic spot for stargazing.
