In this selection we love the Four Seasons on Lanai (pictured above) as it has the one of the most remote and empty beaches in North America. The Ibis Bay in Key West is a sunny and funky destination. The Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach will bring out your nautical side. Barrons Cove On Sag Harbor is a glorious beach resort in the Hamptons and although the sunshine may be intermittent, given that it is spring, you will certainly be free of crowds and able to enjoy this beautiful waterscape when it is most beautiful. Finally we pick the Post Ranch Inn on Big Sur. This hotel is unique and, dare I say it, magical. If you long for the vista from the last scene of the TV series “Mad Men” – this is where you should travel to.
