Get To The Four Seasons Marrakech
Marrakech has a new city and an old city. The old city (the Medina) is the old, walled city center where you can explore the souks and the main square of Marrakech.
The Four Seasons Marrakech is located in the new city of Marrakech, about two miles from the Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK). It’s just a short 10-minute taxi ride, or about a 20-minute walk, from most major destinations in the city. The hotel will book taxi rides and help negotiate prices to wherever you want to go as taxis in Marrakech don’t typically have meters, so make sure you negotiate your fare beforehand and always haggle!

In the evenings, the hotel also provides a shuttle service into the center, which runs from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
Best Time To Visit
Marrakech is a year-round destination. Summer is hot, and spring is the most beautiful as all the flowers are in bloom before they wither in the summer heat, making mid-March to May probably the best time to visit when the landscape is green and lush. Morocco is also lovely in Autumn (September to October) when temperatures are pleasant.
Is Marrakech safe?
You certainly don’t feel unsafe walking around, although the souk owners can be aggressive and pushy trying to sell you things. I wouldn’t walk about in my jewels and would keep them in the safe, but otherwise, don’t expect to feel uncomfortable if you walk about.
Why Four Seasons Marrakech?
This beautiful hotel is light and airy, unlike so many Moroccan hotels that don’t offer views and are instead Riads inside the medina with dark woods and high walls. The Four Seasons feels light and tropical by comparison. The grounds are immaculate. The lobby area is stylish, with lots of Moroccan styling-like curtains hanging down around the room’s edges. There are also colorful birds in the lobby area.
Rooms
Wherever you go in the world, Four Seasons rooms will be large and luxurious. The bathrooms, in particular, are always enormous, even in the base rooms. Their cheapest rooms are still of an excellent size, standard, and quality. In fact, they are usually identical to the rooms with a larger price tag and are often only differentiated from each other by the view.
The resort is split into the main building and many more pavilions and villas with 139 rooms and suites with views of the Menara Gardens and the Atlas Mountains. Every room features its own balcony or terrace, so you can sit out and enjoy the warmth in privacy. Luxurious touches include in-room fireplaces, separate dressing rooms, and Swiss marble bathrooms.
The two-bedroom private residences are the best rooms in the hotel and offer the ultimate in luxury living with a central courtyard, a plunge pool, and a private garage.

Pool & Spa
This hotel has a family pool and a separate 21 & over pool for adults. Both are equally large and beautiful, with lots of sunbeds always available. The complimentary fresh fruit, ice cream, and iced water with lime offered during the day is a lovely extra freebie.
There is also an extensive spa and a kids club to keep the kids amused throughout the day.
Restaurants
There are plenty of eateries to choose from, from the Middle-Eastern restaurant Inara to Quattro, the Italian restaurant serving up scorpionfish alongside fresh orange and olive salads and tiger prawns, along with kid-friendly pizza.
The bar serves up cocktails, and the poolside restaurant delivers light bites.
Is There A Club Lounge?
Four Seasons Marrakech does not have a club lounge. Although we cannot offer club lounge access at this Four Seasons hotel, we can book you in with some incredible benefits.

Conclusion
Four Seasons Marrakech is just about perfect in every way if you are heading to Marrakech. The Mandarin Oriental is also an excellent choice in Marrakech but is so much more expensive the price is hard to justify. This Four Seasons is not in our list of the hotels that I consider to be the best Four Seasons hotels in the world because it is not in a beachside or resort location, but it offers excellent value for a hotel of this quality in a sunny environment. In fact, for value alone, it’s hard to beat.
