This auction is for a voucher for 2 guests to enjoy a meal at So Yum in Johannesburg, South Africa which offers unforgettable signature dishes and Chinese cuisine. The voucher is valued at ZAR 1,000 (approx. £57 GBP / $75 USD) and can be spent on food and drinks. The winner’s parking will also be covered by the restaurant.

Prize Meal Dates: to be booked and taken within 12 months of winning the auction. Please note in order to secure the reservation the winner will need to pay a 20% deposit which will be refunded or deducted from the total bill, depending on the value of the bill.

Dim sum has long been enjoyed as part of the Chinese yum cha meal. Traditionally served during the day with tea, dim sum is about experiencing different flavours and textures in a sharing environment. So Yum has adapted the concept of yum cha for the South African gastronomy culture. They serve dim sum with or without tea, all afternoon and into the evening.

So Yum are very proud of their excellent dim sum menu, especially their signature dim sum: Hong Kong Pears, as well as wide range of other dishes including their California sushi rolls, Peking Duck and Sizzling Beef which is delivered to your table, still sizzling, on a red hot wok! And of course, don’t forget their desserts which include sorbets, cheesecake and chocolate sesame balls!

So Yum will also pay for the winners parking: the winner will be provided with a parking ticket on departure.
