Enjoy a three-night stay for two guests in a large Double Cottage at the Kayal Island Retreat in Kerala, India (as featured in Conde Nast Traveller), including daily breakfast, chef, host, internet, welcome drink, 30-minute canoe ride, fishing trip, personalised yoga session and village walk, worth approximately USD$500 / GBP£350 (inc. taxes)
Kayal Island Retreat is a 4-cottage boutique property in the backwaters of Kerala. You will be staying in a large Double Cottage that has been inspired by the local architecture and curated with reclaimed and recycled material and walls adorned with narratives of local history in art. Each air-conditioned waterfront cottage has been furnished with old teak cupboards, a reading area and desk for quiet contemplation and an ensuite bath garden for some serious rejuvenation. Your stay includes: daily breakfast, chef, host, daily housekeeping services, internet, drinking water, welcome drink, tea/coffee/milk/sugar plus a 30-minute canoe ride, fishing trip, personalised yoga session and village walk. Please note: Lunches and dinners cost USD 12 per person, per meal. Extra beds costs an additional USD$32 (per person per night, including breakfast, 5 years old and above). Check-in is from 1pm and Check-out is by 11am.

This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to Kayal Island Retreat, Kerala, India to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 1 May – 30 September 2016. Please note: In the event of a ‘no show’ or premature departure, the full extent of the stay will be charged, as originally booked and confirmed. The hotel also recommends guests have travel insurance for cancellation and accident / medical costs. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
