These rustic and beautifully restored ancestral homes deliver privacy surrounded by stunning gardens and dazzling sea and mountain views. Each of the traditional stone houses combines a charming mix of tradition and modernity with a luxurious eco-friendly concept. Casa da Talha, your private stone villa, is set over a 650m2 plot of land and enjoys an authentic and rustic feel with all the modern amenities you should need. Your villa features a double bedroom with robes and slippers; bathroom with bath and shower, w/c, bidet and natural amenities; comfortable living room, kitchen-dining room and outside you will find a terrace/sun-deck with barbeque and access to a stunning covered veranda with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall – perfect for cooking a delicious meal whilst sitting back and taking in the magnificent views. Your stay includes a delightful welcome basket with local products (including bread, homemade cakes, jams, milk, coffee, tea, fruit, water, butter, cheese yogurts and basic grocery items), a bottle of wine and daily traditional bread delivered when requested. Please note: it is strongly advisable to rent a car during all your stay as the house is located in the northeast part of São Miguel island and the public bus network is not ideally adapted for tourism.
