You will spend a week staying in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne in the South West of France. Your home-from-home for the week will be the beautifully converted Nicotiana French Farmhouse Barn which is a 4-bedroom property with two king-size bedrooms and two twin rooms. Overlooking the picturesque French countryside this beautiful old farmhouse features a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the ground floor complete with large dining table and chairs, beautiful oak beams, sofa, armchair and doors and windows on both sides of the room, giving it a welcoming sunny aspect throughout the day. The lounge again features characterful old oak beams, comfortable sofa’s, coffee table, TV with free-view channels and a bookcase with games for those rainy days. Also on the ground floor you will find a separate WC and a fully tiled shower room. A wide staircase leads to the first floor where you will find two large bedrooms with king-size beds, wardrobes, dressing table or chest of drawers and bedside tables; two smaller double bedrooms with 2 single beds in each along with wardrobes and bedside tables and finally there is a bathroom with shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC. Outside the property you can sit back, relax and enjoy the views from the large garden and raised, decked dining area with table, chairs and large sun parasol. The property also enjoys complimentary wifi, complimentary welcome pack upon arrival, CD, MP3 player, iPod docking station, Freeview TV, private parking, towels and bedding, BBQ equipment and stylish garden furniture and there is a free cot and high chair available on request. Please note: No all-male or all-female party bookings will be permitted and only those named on the winners booking form can stay (maximum of 8 guests). There is to be no sub-letting whatsoever and no pets are permitted in the property. Tourist tax is payable on arrival which is EUR0.80cents (approx. GBP£0.70 / USD$0.90) per person per night. The winner must pay a GBP£300 / USD$375 damages deposit payable 4 weeks prior to stay commencing which will be returned within 10 days at the end of the stay provided no damage has occurred.

No cash alternative is available. This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to the Nicotiana French Farmhouse Barn, Dordogne, South West France to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked before 31 January 2017 for a stay between 06 May – 03 June 2017. If damage occurs (other than normal wear and tear) deductions will be made. The winner agrees to pay for any damages in excess of the deposit paid. The barn is on a fosse – septic system which is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed, so therefore DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper, especially no feminine / baby products should be flushed at any time and if it is found that feminine / baby products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged damages of up to GBP£300 / USD$375. The owners highly recommend that the winner and all guests purchase travel insurance. The barn is privately owned and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. The winner agrees with these terms & conditions on behalf of all members of the party. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
