Just a flight (to Athens), taxi and ferry ride from London, the beautiful Island of Spetses is an affluent and popular destination with a serene atmosphere and where the preferred form of transport is a romantic horse and carriage. The Xenon Estate lies hidden away on a green hill, 1 km away from the town’s main port of Dapia on the eastern side of the island.

At the Xenon Estate, the traditional architecture of the island meets state of the art minimalistic aesthetics resulting in a luxurious getaway with high end services. The resort comprises of three luxurious residencies that can host up to 17 guests in total in spacious and luxurious comfort. This tranquil and private resorts boasts the island’s largest swimming pool (17m x 9m) as well as astonishing panoramic views of the sea, the mainland and the horizon beyond.

The winner and their guest will be staying at Villa Lethe, a 65sqm. 1 bedroom maisonette, ideal for honeymooners, romantic getaways and couples looking for a cosy and stylish hideaway to enjoy privacy, autonomy and relaxation. The villa boasts: a bedroom with built in double bed, sofa bed, luxury towels and bed linen; luxury shower room; living room with sofa and two design armchairs; oak wood kitchen with built in electrical appliances (large refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher) and small appliances including: microwave oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, multi blender; veranda dining area; patio with magnificent panoramic views and a private terrace with wooden sunbeds and a large umbrella. As part of your stay there will be selected food and beverages available for you to use (however there is a fee to replace them); as well as complimentary slippers, bath robes, pool towels, loofah sponges and a full range of cleansing and beauty products made from natural, local ingredients, by the Greek company Korres. The villa also enjoys complimentary wifi, a 27″ LCD TV in the living room with DVD player and Home Cinema; 19” LCD TV in the bedroom; satellite TV; mini stereo sound-system in the bedrooms and living room; air conditioning; iron, ironing board and clothes-horse and safe.

Please note the winner will be required to pay a security deposit of €350 EUR (approx. £310 GBP / $420 USD) in cash upon arrival, to be returned in cash upon departure.

Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 02 – 29 June 2018 or 24 September – 14 October 2018 only. Please book prize stay as soon after the auction ends as possible to ensure maximum availability. Please note any associated taxes / resort fees / entrance fees etc. will be collected from the winner by the relevant property at the time of booking your stay or on departure and will not be deducted from the amount bid for the item. Please note the winner will be required to pay a security deposit of €350 EUR (approx. £310 GBP / $420 USD) in cash upon arrival, to be returned in cash upon departure. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luxury Travel Diary will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winners’ use or enjoyment of the prize; and the winner acknowledges that Luxury Travel Diary accepts no responsibility whether directly or indirectly for any claims whatsoever arising in respect of the prizes provided by third party providers or sponsors.
