Enjoy a 4-night, 5-day stay for 2 guests in a Bungalow with views of Kilimanjaro at the Original Maasai Lodge in Tanzania. Stay includes Safari excursion to Arusha National Park to see giraffes and other wildlife; exclusive Sinya Reserve Game Drive; special Maasai Day to get to know their traditions and culture; private guided tour of Africa Amini Alama Projects; transfers and private English-speaking guide including vehicle; and stay at the Lodge on a half-board basis with pool and sauna. Stay is valued at approximately £2,535 GBP / $3,250 USD*. Please note all additional purchases including flight to and from Kilimanjaro Airport, Visas, further meals, drinks, massages, excursions, etc. must be paid for by the winner separately.

Run by the Maasai, the Original Maasai Lodge is perfectly camouflaged in the midst of unspoiled nature, offering culture and relaxation with beautiful views of Kilimanjaro. Guests get to know the Maasai through campfire stories, spear throwing, and traditional dances.
Facilities at the lodge include an infinity outdoor pool, pool bar, massage rooms, sauna, outdoor fireplace, outdoor furniture, sun terrace, games room (with books, DVDs, games, and music for children), gift shop, and rest areas along with 16 earth house bungalows that guarantee exclusivity, individuality, and authenticity.
Guests can take part in free activities such as spear throwing, dances, nature walks or campfire conversations allow you to interact with the Maasai. Other activities include live music/performances off-site; tours or classes about local culture; walking tours; mountain biking (additional charge); horse-riding (additional charge); and hiking with the Maasai. There are multilingual staff available speaking English, German and Swahili too.
In terms of dining, the restaurant serves international and traditional Swahili dishes, refined with home-grown herbs.
Each bungalow is powered by solar energy and enjoys a bedroom with a living area and ensuite toilet and shower with hot water. Every morning you can experience the sunrise behind Kilimanjaro on your terrace right in the midst of the African nature. Bungalow amenities include a bottle of water in the room and free wifi is available in public areas.

No cash alternative is available. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount. This auction item excludes flights and transport, except for the transfers mentioned above – you will need to arrange and pay for your own flights / transportation to and from your home to the Original Maasai Lodge in Tanzania to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken before 20 December 2021. Please note any associated taxes / resort fees / entrance fees etc. and all additional purchases will be collected from the winner by the relevant property at the time of booking your stay or on departure and will not be deducted from the amount bid for the item.
