This auction is for an incredible Rafiki Eco-Safaris Gorilla Expedition. Visit Uganda and embark on a journey to meet one of the world’s most endangered species: the mountain gorilla. These gentle giants reside in the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is home to half the world’s gorillas which is estimated to be about 440 out of the total 880. Guests on this amazing journey will encounter Uganda’s vibrant and varied wildlife whilst hiking through tropical forests with experienced guides. The challenging treks will be rewarded by this action-packed adventure.

This will truly be one of the most exciting experiences of a lifetime. The gorillas are gentle animals, and it is an unforgettable experience to photograph them as they interact. Guests will be able to stare into the eyes of these gentle giants and watch them in awe as they play and go about their daily activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards; you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. The guides might also look for other primates like the L’ Hoest Monkey, Black and White Colobus; Red-tailed and Blue monkeys. Other mammals you might see include the Rwenzori Duiker, Yellow back duiker, Caruthers squirrel, Bohm’s and Alexander squirrels, and many more.
