​Laos is renowned as one of the ‘hot’ destinations of 2018 and the ancient city of Luang Prabang is one of the most popular areas to visit. Luang Prabang itself is a stunningly beautiful all year round destination on the Mekong River. Whilst in the area visitors can enjoy the famous giving of alms each morning to the monks; visit the Kuang Si waterfalls and caves, take a trip along the Mekong River and shop in the famous night markets.

​Visit Luang Prabang in luxury, style and comfort with a stay at the Apsara Rive Droite Hotel. This beautiful boutique riverside hotel is connected to the town centre by its own boat, the Apsarian Queen, making it easy to get right into the heart of town. The Apsarian Queen operates on demand, daytime, and night time until 10pm. During the dry season (November to May) a pedestrian bamboo bridge is constructed 5 mins walk away from the hotel which allows quick access into town. Bicycles are also available and you can pedal quickly into town using the nearby “Two wheels two legs only” bridge.

For those seeking a special experience they can visit the Alms Giving in the village of The Apsara, Rive Droite itself, a much smaller procession than that in town that offers a real local flavour and is less affected by the numbers of tourists.

The Apsara Rive Droite Hotel features a tranquil pool surrounded by loungers and sun umbrellas, manicured gardens and a restaurant that is open for all-day dining, offering a fresh and delicious poolside menu or dining menu for those wishing to eat in.

The winner and their guest will be staying in one of the nine large, spacious and glamorous guest rooms which come with large fully equipped bathrooms, complete with separate shower and bath. All the beautiful guest rooms have wooden floors, a king size double bed with western mattress, air conditioning, fans, safes, a mini bar, hair dryers, phones, and views of the temples and mountains of Luang Prabang. Four of the rooms also have a day bed that can very easily be made up into a single bed, if needed.
