Enjoy a 4 day, 3 night stay for 2 guests in a Hillside Room at the stunning Golden Rock Inn, situated in Charlestown on the beautiful and sleepy Caribbean island of Nevis. Stay includes: welcome drink, daily a la carte Breakfast, private tour of the Raymond Jungles designed gardens, complimentary laundry service, and a bottle of Prosecco in room upon arrival. Stay is valued at approximately $1,400 USD / £1,095 GBP*. Please note transfers are not included and all additional purchases including meals, drinks, transfers, excursions etc. must be paid for by the winner separately.

Situated on the beautiful, island of Nevis, the Golden Rock Inn dates back to the early 1800’s and sits on a hundred acres of land, stretching up the verdant slopes of Nevis Peak. Nevis itself remains unspoiled, with no buildings higher than a palm tree and friendly islanders to add to your stay. There are ruins to explore on the 36 square mile island that date back to the late 1600’s, or why not visit colonial Charlestown, the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, or simply relax on one of Nevis’s hidden beaches. In terms of outdoor activities on the island you can try windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling, sailing, mountain biking, hiking, birding and more.

This beautiful boutique property boasts 11 guest rooms with glorious tropical gardens and sea views toward the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Montserrat. The inn features a fresh water pool, alfresco dining and nature surrounds you, including green vervet monkeys, hummingbirds, finches, tree frogs and the occasional local donkey.

In terms of dining, guests can enjoy lively Caribbean cuisine paired with global flair at ‘The Rocks’ restaurant. The menu includes fresh fish and lobster from local fisherman and tropical fruits and vegetables from neighbouring growers. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served alfresco on dining decks overlooking the sea, or within intimate garden settings. The welcoming bar serves refreshing signature cocktails under stone vaulted ceilings.

The winner and their guest will be staying in a Hillside Room with private bathroom and outdoor lounging area. Room amenities include: ceiling fan, closet with small security safe, 300 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, beach bags and towels, Le Labo toiletries, complimentary wifi in room or on verandah and complimentary bottled water and house baked sweets on arrival.

This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to Golden Rock Inn, Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 25 April to 20 August 2019. Any associated taxes / resort fees / entrance fees etc. and additional purchases will be collected from the winner by the relevant property at the time of booking your stay or on departure and will not be deducted from the amount bid for the item. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
