Enjoy a 3-night stay for 2 guests in a Double or Twin Riad Room at the beautiful Dar Habiba in Marrakech, Morocco. Stay includes a fabulous daily Moroccan breakfast, dinner on evening of arrival (including soft drinks only) and airport transfers in Marrakech, valued at approximately £375 GBP / $495 USD*.

Dar Habiba is a truly beautiful private Riad which lies right in the very heart of old Marrakech. It’s an oasis of calm and tranquillity, just minutes from the hubub of the main Marrakech Square. Dar Habiba is situated within the old Jewish district, known as the Mellah. The word ‘habiba’ means close friend in arabic and at Dar Habiba the aim is for visitors to arrive as guests, but leave as friends.
Inside Dar Habiba, you will find a charming, traditional Riad that provides a safe and relaxing environment with a full range of home comforts. What makes this Riad different is that it offers all its guests fantastic value for money. It features just six beautiful ensuite guest rooms, so all guests enjoy a truly personal service and the small team of dedicated staff are always on hand to help, reassure and advise.
Dar Habiba has an unusually large and airy traditional courtyard at the heart of the whole riad, which is a beautiful space to sit in the sun or shade, watching birds drinking from the fountain. The courtyard features a small (waist deep) dipping pool for guests to dangle their feet into, which looks especially magical at night when lit by candles. There is a salon or lounge with an open fireplace just off the courtyard and hidden on the rooftop there is a beautiful roof terrace which is a wonderful place to sit at sunset, relaxing in comfort, listening to the evening sounds drifting across from the nearby Jemaa El Fna, or during the day you can bask in the Moroccan sunshine on a lounger.
The owners, Mike and Lucie, believe it’s the small things that really make a difference and this means that during a stay here guests will enjoy: an English speaking concierge, unlimited mint tea, complimentary toiletries; breakfast served at a time to suit you; delicious evening meals individually prepared to your taste and dietary requirements; complimentary wifi; a complimentary map of the old town; help booking restaurants and excursions and free Marrakech Travel Guide iOS App and Android App – nothing is too much trouble. They also offer the loan of a local pay-as-you-go mobile to stay in touch with your English speaking hosts while you’re out exploring.
The winner will be staying in a Double or Twin Riad Room. All guest rooms feature air conditioning, flat screen tv with satellite channels, luxurious bedding towels and robes, mini-fridge, room safe and an ensuite shower room with complimentary toiletries. A fabulous daily Moroccan breakfast is included in your stay, which can be served at the time of your choice. The winner will also enjoy dinner on the evening of their arrival with complimentary soft drinks and airport transfers in Marrakech.

This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to Dar Habiba, Marrakech, Morocco to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 1 July & 31 August 2018.
