This auction is for a 3-course dinner for 2 with a glass of champagne per guest on arrival and one bottle of wine to enjoy with the meal at The Albert Square Chop House in the iconic Memorial Hall on Albert Square in Manchester. The winner and their guest will be able to choose any 3 courses from the a la carte menu, valued at up to £150 GBP* (value includes 2 glasses of champagne and bottle of wine).

Prize meal dates: to be booked in advance and taken within 3 months of the auction end date, excluding all bookings in December, subject to availability.

The Albert Square Chop House in Thomas Worthington’s iconic Memorial Hall lies right in the heart of the City of Manchester. This listed former Victorian warehouse was built in 1866 and was long neglected, however it has been beautifully renovated into a brilliant dining pub and British restaurant. This post-industrial space features an open kitchen with original architectural character and exposed services, plus it offers a unique function floor that’s perfect for events, parties and weddings.

The Albert Square Chop House is an independent local business that’s been set up by chop house enthusiasts (who incidentally also own the very popular Mr Thomas’s and Sam’s Chop Houses). The Albert Square Chop House is all about great hospitality, delicious beers and wines and the best of British cooking, but what truly sets it apart is its location in an amazing historic building.

The restaurant itself offers a dramatic space where Chef Lee Ferguson prepares and presents the classic British fair. The restaurant features booths and flexible table plans to accommodate groups of all sizes.

The cuisine is Classic British food with a modern twist, using the freshest local ingredients.

This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to The Albert Square Chop House, Memorial Hall, Albert Square, Manchester, M2 5PF, UK to coincide with your booking. Your meal is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken within 3 months of the auction end date, excluding all bookings in December. Please note any associated taxes or tip etc. will be collected from the winner by the restaurant and will not be deducted from the amount bid for the item. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
