This auction is for a pair of tickets for the award winning Malta Experience Audio Visual Spectacular (available in 17 languages), which lasts 45 minutes, followed by a guided tour (only in English) of the Sacra Infermeria, which was built in 1574 by the Knights of St John. This experience is valued at approximately €32 EUR / £29 GBP / $38 USD*. Please note all additional purchases including meals and drinks at St. Elmo’s Bistro, and souvenirs etc. must be paid for by the winner separately.

The Malta Experience is an award-winning show in Malta. Viewers will discover 7,000 years of history with this amazing audio visual show, followed by the La Sacra Infermeria Tour.

The audio visual show tells the dramatic story of the islands’ 7,000 year history. It’s educational, informative and entertaining, and runs through the turbulent history of this small island nation that has overcome almost unimaginable odds to survive and prosper. Situated in a purpose built panoramic auditorium, the show chronicles Malta’s unique history in just 45 minutes. It will enrich your understanding of the islands, its people and the places you’ll see on your visit. Through beautiful imagery and a gripping commentary, The Malta Experience, has enthralled over 4 million visitors.
La Sacra Infermeria Tour, shows you around the amazing hospital, built in 1574, which was the most revolutionary in Europe. Its resident chemists invented a number of groundbreaking treatments, such as the use of honey to treat wounds and the serving of food on silver plates to prevent the spread of bacteria and so much more.

Weekends & Public Holidays: 11:00 – 12:00 – 13:00 – 14:00 (between July and September there are no shows at 14:00 hrs on Sundays).
Note: they are closed for Christmas Day, Easter Day & New Year’s Day.

The Malta Experience is located in Valletta, in the St. Elmo Bastions. Buses stop at the Valletta City Gate, just 15 minutes’ walk away. The location is also accessible by car via the Barriera street.
