Enjoy a 2-night Scottish Glamping stay for up to 4 guests (2 Adults + up to 2 Children) in a beautiful Canvas Cottage with Ensuite Bathroom at the Glampotel Paxton House in Paxton in the Scottish Borders. Your stay includes tea, coffee, milk, bottled water, luxury linens and fluffy towels and is valued at approximately £360 GBP*. Please note all additional purchases including groceries, meals, drinks, hampers, excursions etc. must be paid for by the winner separately.

Prize stay dates: to be booked in advance and taken between 01 September to 15 October 2018 or 01 May to 15 October 2019, excluding stays over all bank holiday weekends (Fri – Mon), subject to availability.

Glampotel Paxton House, which opened in May 2017, is situated on the wooded river banks of Paxton House, a beautiful historic house in Paxton, Berwickshire, in the Scottish Borders. The property lies just a few miles south-west of Berwick-upon-Tweed and sits right on the banks of the River Tweed.

The romantic Glampotel Canvas Cottages feature laminate wood floors, handmade custom wooden furniture, a king size bed with foam mattress, luxurious linens, soft pillows and hypo-allergenic duvet, a wood burning stove, cooking facilities, mirror, blanket chest, hot water bottle, safe and an ensuite bathroom!

The private ensuite glamping bathroom features hardwood flooring, solar lighting, instant hot water shower, hot and cold running water, modern eco-friendly toilet, mirror, and a towel rail, not forgetting luxurious fluffy white bath and hand towels and plenty of biodegradable toiletries for you to use, including soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner.

Outside you will find a large private wooden deck, gas powered BBQ, patio heater and comfy seating area. A large sail covers the deck, ensuring you can use all the facilities, regardless of the weather and there are plenty of throw blankets so you can snuggle up on those colder nights. Solar lighting also keeps the deck lit so you can sit and enjoy the outdoor life in ‘Glampotel style’ for as long as you wish.

Inside the kitchenette you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious outdoor meal, including pots and pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery for the whole family, and of course a kettle for making a fresh cuppa. Tea, coffee, milk and bottled water will all be waiting for you on arrival and a cooler will help keep food and drinks nicely chilled. These wonderful little Canvas Cottages offer you everything you need to enjoy getting back to nature and sleeping under the stars.

Whilst staying in the beautiful grounds of Paxton House, you will also be able to use all of its facilities including the gift shop and cafe, and you can of course participate in the various family activities going on there.

Free parking is available a short walk from your Canvas Cottage and 3G/4G is available on all networks throughout Glampotel Paxton House – however why not switch off your devices, get away from it all, and be at one with nature, reconnecting with family and friends?

This auction item excludes flights and transport – you will need to arrange your own flights / transportation to and from your home to Glampotel Paxton House, Paxton, Scottish Borders, UK to coincide with your booking. Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 01 September to 15 October 2018 or 01 May to 15 October 2019, excluding stays over all bank holiday weekends (Fri – Mon). Winners must pay for their auction item in full via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
