Enjoy a 2-night weekday (Sun – Thurs) stay for 2 guests in St.Pierre, a luxury short stay apartment, in the beautiful city of Leiden in the Dutch province of South Holland, including early check-in (12pm), bubbles on arrival, 1 day’s bike rental for 2 and high tea for 2 at the pretty Theehuis De Leidsehout in Houtlaan in Leiden, valued at approximately €550 EUR / £480 GBP / $620 USD*.

Leiden is a beautiful city in the Dutch province of South Holland, known for its centuries-old architecture and for Leiden University which dates back to 1575. It was also the birthplace of Rembrandt!

The winner will be staying in St.Pierre, a luxury short stay apartment situated right in the centre of Leiden. The apartment lies between the 1,000-year-old burcht, the gothic Pieterschurch and the recently renovated law faculty. This quirkily designed and character-filled property has been lovingly restored and decorated by the owners: Gera and Merijn and can accommodate a maximum of two guests in a single suite.

The apartment itself is situated on the ground floor of a 17th century listed property. As you enter the apartment you are met with a light and airy hallway with a seating area, TV and a small desk. Because of its early 17th century architecture the apartment is open-plan and connects via a small set of stairs from the hallway to the bedroom. The bedroom enjoys a comfortable double bed, built-in wardrobe, laptop safe, TV and a large window that presents an ever-changing view of the beautiful inner-city garden.

Take a few steps down from the hallway and you’ll enter the fully equipped kitchen which features a large SMEG fridge, gas hob, dishwasher and a large dining table (which seats up to six). Behind the kitchen you’ll find the small bathroom with the WC, luxurious rain shower and a full range of toiletries. From here you also have access to an intimate patio area, ideal for a relaxing glass of wine in the evenings. Finally, from the kitchen there is another small set of stairs down to the wine cellar which features a wide range of different wines and champagnes.

Every stay includes a personal welcome and checkout, complimentary high-speed wifi, iPhone for local use, free coffee and tea facilities, radio with bluetooth connectivity, area tips and local event calendar, 96cm flat screen TV, DVD plaver and fresh flowers.
