Enjoy a 2-night stay (exc. Saturday nights) for 2 guests in a Super King or Twin Room on a bed and breakfast basis at the romantic Pauntley Court in Gloucestershire including tea and homemade cake on arrival worth approximately GBP£280.
Prize stay dates: To be taken between 15 January – 10 March 2017, excluding all Saturday nights, subject to availability.
You will be staying at the stunning Pauntley Court, a half-timber, part medieval, part Elizabethan House that is beautifully wrapped around a central courtyard and surrounded by a series of fascinating formal gardens and tranquil meadows beyond. You will be staying in one of the two spacious, light filled and luxurious bedrooms, each with super king size beds (which can be made into twins on request) and views overlooking the ‘ruin garden’ and countryside beyond. The Dick Whittington Room is a bright, high-ceilinged room decorated in a colourful English country house style with an ensuite bathroom and large walk-in shower. The John Masefield Room has been classically decorated in creams and toile de jouy and features long sweeping curtains, marble fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom with a west facing window which fills the room with evening sunlight as well as a shower over the bath and underfloor heating. Both rooms benefit from Nespresso coffee machines, slim Freeview televisions, Roberts DAB radios, wifi access, high quality Neal’s Yard bath products and a selection of luxurious towels and dressing gowns. On arrival you will be welcomed into the beautiful hallway with painted ceiling, ready to take afternoon tea in front of the roaring fire in the drawing room – how quintessentially British!

Your stay is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and taken between 15 January – 10 March 2017, excluding all Saturday nights. Winners must pay for their auction item in full via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end, otherwise Luxury Travel Diary Ltd. reserves the right to offer the auction item to the next highest bidder with immediate effect.
