You will be staying at Makakatana Bay Lodge, the only privately owned safari lodge set on the banks of Lake St Lucia within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site, the heart of Africa’s largest natural estuary. You will be staying in one of the 5 Standard Suites at this 4-Star property, three of which are set in the dune forest and are frequented by friendly warthog, red duiker, nyala, bush babies, birds and hippos; one has views out through the bush onto a vlei and the last suite has views through the bush onto the Lake. Your suite features air-conditioning/heating, ensuite bathroom, bar fridge, private game viewing deck and tea and coffee making facilities.
