The Best Western Plus Wroxton House Hotel is an elegant and romantic 4 star hotel set in a pretty, thatched building that has been beautifully renovated in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The hotel lies right on the edge of the Cotswolds, making it the perfect weekend escape for Londoners! The hotel has earned the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and has been ranked as the #1 hotel in Banbury and the #2 hotel in the whole of Oxfordshire.

The hotel features the 2 AA Rosette Restaurant 1649 with its charming oak beams and an Inglenook Fireplace. The restaurant offers a distinctive contemporary menu in a relaxed atmosphere and there is a lighter menu available in the lounge bar which can be enjoyed by the log burning stove in the winter or on the terrace on a warm summers day. There is also a bar at the heart of the hotel which serves morning coffee with homemade biscuits and traditional afternoon teas with a selection of freshly cut sandwiches, fruit scones with clotted cream and homemade jam followed by a selection of homemade mini desserts.

All 32 rooms at the hotel are simple, luxurious and welcoming with a choice of traditional in the original part of the house and contemporary in the new wing. Each room has a work area with desk, sitting area with easy chair and coffee table, LCD TV with 80 channels, free wifi internet access, refreshment tray, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and complimentary mineral water.

The winner and their guest will be staying in a spacious Executive Room with seating area, king size bed, 32″ TV, upgraded tea tray, ipod docking station, luxury toiletries and bathrobes on request.
