The beautiful, rustic, French villa the winner will be staying lies peaceful location, in the heart of the Monbazillac vineyards, 10 km south west of Bergerac and its international airport, 20mn from the A89 motorway. 75 km from Sarlat, 45 km from Périgueux.

The Bergerac area is often referred to as the “Gateway to the Perigord” as many visitors use it as a base from which to plan their stay in Dordogne. All visitors are offered a superb choice of attractions, many of which are distinctive to this corner of south west France.

Bergerac itself is a modern attractive town which offers a wide range of restaurants and many quaint traditional cafes. Nestled on a riverbank, at the heart of a wine producing area, it boasts interesting reminders of its past and offers easy access to the surrounding countryside and many famous wine producers.

The villa is one of 3 holiday cottages that have a shared pool. It features a 22m² living/dining room with TV, hi-fi, double sofa bed, farmhouse table with 6 chairs and French window. There is a 16 m² American kitchen with dishwasher, mini oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas/electric hob, toaster, coffee machine and table.

There are 2 bedrooms, the 13m² master bedroom on the first floor features a double bed, single bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe and the 11m² second bedroom on the ground floor enjoys a double bed, wardrobe and chair. There is 1 bathroom on the ground floor with shower, WC, basin and washing machine.

Outside the property you will find a terrace with views of countryside. It features a table, 10 chairs, barbecue and 2 large parasols. There is a shared 10 x 5m pool with a depth of 1.5m and sun-loungers. The pool opens at 10am to 7pm and stays open late on Fridays until 10.30pm. Surrounding the property there is also 1000m² of open grounds.

Please note: The winner will be required to pay a €400 EUR refundable cash security deposit on site, there is an €8 EUR bed linen hire cost per bed, and the winner will be charged €80 EUR for cleaning if the property is not left clean. Please bring your own towels. No flights, transfers or food are included and the winner must take out holiday insurance.
