Please note: Additional nights may be booked at standard cost. The winner must pay a £75 GBP refundable housekeeping deposit on arrival and standard occupancy terms and conditions will be agreed prior to stay.

Carr’s Hill is situated in a peaceful, pretty, rural area of Scotland with pitches overlooking the surrounding farmland. The site is very easily accessible from the M9/M80/M876 motorway network and is within easy reach of Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. The property lies adjacent to an ancient Roman fort near Stirling, in the heart of Scotland, making it an ideal touring base to explore central Scotland and further afield.

As well as shopping and plenty of sights to see nearby, you can also enjoy playing golf (with a course just 3 miles away); going coarse fishing (2 miles away); a spot of clay pigeon shooting (2 miles away); and horse riding (2 miles away).

Carr’s Hill offers both a Caravan Club CL site with five thoughtfully laid out hardstanding touring pitches, 5 private touring pitches as well as two Luxury Safari Tents which are located separately from the touring pitches, offering an entirely unique ‘glamping’ retreat in the stunning Stirlingshire countryside.

If, like many, the thought of camping in a basic tent with minimal facilities to hand is not for you, then Carr’s Hill offers the perfect solution with their beautiful, Luxury Safari Tents. You can still enjoy all the fun and adventure of living in the great outdoors and sleeping under canvas, but you also get to enjoy plenty of home comforts too, plus there’s no need to spend hours pitching your tent as it’s all done for you!

Carr’s Hill has two Luxury Safari Tents, affectionately known as Hazel and Jennifer, and they truly are a home-from-home with plenty of luxurious home comforts including: a private shower room with wc and wash basin, cosy log burning stove, hot and cold water, indoor cooking facilities and a private decked veranda from which you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets towards Ben Lomond and Ben Ledi.

The winner will be staying in one of the two Luxury Safari Tents with king size bedroom, triple bunk bedroom, single sofa bed (for an additional guest), board games, outdoor seating and BBQ. Both tents are ‘off grid’, which means they have no mains power supply and instead are lit by storm lanterns, solar lights, candles and torches, which creates a magical and romantic atmosphere. Although the tents are off grid, there are power points at the reception building a short distance away, where you can charge mobile phones and plug in your hair dryers and straighteners!
