Book A Hotel

If the world were more like the Four Seasons London at Park Lane, it would truly be a better place. Step onto the forecourt of this stunning property and you step into another world, where nothing is too much trouble and everybody knows your name.

After a stressful and protracted drive up to London, it was a delight to have my car door opened by the doorman. I no longer needed to concern myself with dragging my luggage, battling the traffic, congestion charges, or even opening doors – does that make me lazy?!

The foyer of the Four Seasons London is decadently attired in soothing neutrals with a stunning marble floor. To the left, as you enter, is an intimate lounge, and in front of you is the front desk where they seem to magically know who you are even before you introduce yourself.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that there are two Four Seasons in London. Four Seasons London at Park Lane, which I review here, and Four Seasons London at Tower Bridge, which we have also reviewed separately. The Four Seasons London at Park Lane is better located for the West End, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London’s Parks, Knightsbridge, Soho, and Regents Street. The Tower Bridge Four Seasons is better located for walks along the Thames and the Tower of London.

Location

Ideally located on Park Lane, the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane lies between the Royal Parks of Green Park, St James’ Park, and Hyde Park. Knightsbridge is steps away, and Mayfair is a short stroll in the opposite direction, so you are perfectly positioned to shop and explore.

The Four Seasons is also opposite the InterContinental Park Lane and across the Hyde Park Corner roundabout, you will find the new Peninsula London. In the picture below, you can see the view from the suite up Park Lane. As you can see, the views from the rooms and suites at this Four Seasons are amazing.

We spent a very happy morning exploring Knightsbridge, culminating in some time in Harrods! We then drifted further into Kensington and enjoyed a cultural afternoon at the V&A Museum. Having all this in such easy reach of your hotel is wonderful.

Heathrow Airport is a 40-minute car transfer, and London City Airport lies 45 minutes away. The hotel is well served by the London Underground too, with Hyde Park Corner station a couple of minutes’ walk away, and Green Park station is less than a 10-minute walk away.

Style & Character

The hotel is modern and underwent an extensive two-year £125 million redevelopment in 2011. More recently, certain suites have been modernised. This renovation has left rooms and common spaces looking stunning; they still retain the Art Deco nod but are bang up to date and could easily adorn the pages of the latest interiors magazine.

We adored the sea of greys and teals used in the restaurant and bar; throughout the hotel, the décor is chic, ultra-luxurious, and formal but in a contemporary, not stuffy way!

Even the plush corridors are worth a mention. Adorned with photos of glamorous stars in the vein of Marilyn Monroe, they feel safe and luxurious (you need to use your room key to get the lift to take you up to the corridors and rooms).

Even though this isn’t a small hotel, the Four Seasons London has the feel of a large boutique hotel with just the right number of rooms and with that “just right” lighting level everywhere – you look fabulous but you can still see!

Service & Facilities

The 10th floor at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is home to a spectacular destination spa. A heavenly space, boasting eucalyptus steam rooms, a vitality pool, serene treatment rooms with a view, and my favourite, a salt wall sauna with gorgeous views across Hyde Park!

Couples can spa together in the Sky Suite, or there’s a package available where you can combine your spa treatment with a post-treatment afternoon tea for the ultimate relaxation. The Sauna is also worth a try.

As well as the spa, there’s a very well-equipped fitness centre with a view across the London skyline.

The lobby is also home to a separate concierge desk, and a valet service is available with luxury cars that drive guests locally.

We also really loved the facilities they offer for people arriving pre-check-in: a spacious lounge space with refreshments and showers to freshen up. While most hotels will store your bags for you, this really does go one step further.

The staff are some of the best and warmest hotel staff I have ever experienced. They greeted my son like a long-lost relative and rushed over to him with a gift of LEGO. The service is slick from check-in to check-out.

Often, even in the best hotels, I’m left not knowing where I am going and waiting for a member of staff to show us to our room. Not here. After a quick check-in, the same member of staff will personally guide you to your room. In this case, we were whisked into the luxurious lift by the sweetest girl called Yoko, who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.

Rooms

The 196 rooms and suites are exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons and exactly what you’d wish for from a hotel of this calibre. Beautifully finished, perfectly appointed. Your every need is catered for. Those legendary Four Seasons bathrooms are as stunning as you’d expect; if budget allows, make sure yours has one of the stand-alone baths, there’s no better place to wash off a London day.

The room’s decor is stylish and classy, with a plush feel. Objects of art are scattered throughout, and black-and-white prints of stars from the past hang from the walls.

Four Seasons London At Park Lane One Bedroom Suite

We tried out the Park Suite, which boasts the most mesmerizing view of bustling Park Lane and picturesque Hyde Park. The most fabulous desk had been placed in a glass alcove that protrudes from the building, offering a 180-degree view.

I am writing at this inspiring desk today, with the gas fire hissing in the background and the quiet hum of the traffic (yes, as you would expect, everything is uber-soundproofed). This alcove must truly win any “desk with a view” or “most inspiring desk” competition!

The Suite’s doors slide slickly in and out of the walls, perfect for a dramatic Bond-style entrance! Many have completely mirrored backs, the reflection ideal for testing an evening’s outfit. But also confusing if you’re tired, as it can be unclear to tired eyes whether the main door is open or shut. I stupidly walked straight into it. Twice. The vanity of bumbling around without my glasses or contacts was to blame, not the evening’s consumption at the bar, honest.

The rest of the living area and bedroom are decorated in warm neutral hues with teal and navy accents. It just works. The two bathrooms continue with the beautiful marble in the foyer, which is super luxurious.

Once again, the main bathroom houses everything you would expect from a Four Seasons bathroom with a little more.

The photos speak a thousand words but, in a nutshell, the bathroom is generously sized, double sinks, separate bath, rainforest shower, toilet with bidet, more towels, and toiletries than you could use in a year, let alone a night, plus some nice additional features like a TV inside the mirror which is surprisingly useful.

The suite has a comfy sitting area with two double sofas and a dining table. As you would expect, the main TV sat above the gas fireplace (which even I could work), and it has a rather impressive sound system.

A beautiful fruit basket greeted us, and some yummy pastries were placed on the dining table as well as a clear road sign on a plate announcing “Welcome To Park Lane”. I fancied the sign as a souvenir, so I eagerly rinsed it under a tap in preparation for packing. To my horror, it started to disintegrate. It was made of sugar! Note to self – next stay, do not rinse the sugar road sign gift!

Antoine is the flagship restaurant and bar at the recently reimagined Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. Opened in 2024 as part of the hotel’s most significant refurbishment since its 2010 relaunch, Antoine replaces the former Amaranto restaurant, bringing a completely fresh identity rooted in refined European dining with a strong London soul.

The restaurant is stylish but relaxed — think contemporary glamour meets classic warmth. Interiors blend soft lighting, textured materials, and a palette of rich neutrals and pale blues, creating an inviting, upscale setting that works equally well for business lunches, special occasions, or relaxed evening dining.

The bar area flows naturally into the restaurant, creating a seamless experience whether you’re dropping in for a cocktail or settling in for a full meal.

Led by Executive Chef Yannick Ehrsam, the menu focuses on modern European cuisine with French and Italian influences, seasonal British produce, and elegant presentation. Signature dishes might include native lobster, saffron risotto, or slow-roasted lamb with Provençal herbs, all made with finesse but not overworked.

You can return for a delectable afternoon tea and then dine in the evening, feasting on modern French cuisine created by Chef Yannick Alléno while admiring the open-kitchen concept.

The bar at Antoine is a destination in its own right, with a carefully curated cocktail list, classic pours, and a wine selection designed to pair beautifully with the menu. It’s chic, calm, and understated — perfect for a quiet aperitif or a post-dinner nightcap.

We also really enjoyed Bar Antoine and adored its huge outdoor terrace; when we visited, it was set for winter with gorgeous log-cabin-inspired Alpine booths. In the summer, this terrace is transformed into a sunny, glamorous, sociable hub.

The cocktails at Bar Antonine are delicious; they listened to our tastes and were on hand to recommend the perfect taste sensation for us, and they did not disappoint!

There is also a private dining area with a bar that groups can rent out.

Conclusion

I could continue gushing for at least another few paragraphs, but I feel it suffices to say that we had no desire to leave our gorgeous haven on Hyde Park Corner in central London. You must go to the Four Seasons London, even if you just pop in for a drink in their bar, just to experience the loveliness of this fabulous Four Seasons Hotel. We’ll be back very soon!
