It can be a nightmare trying to find luxury hotels in London with two double beds for a family of four (two adults and two children). Most hotels insist on guests booking two rooms or a suite. Both options are significantly more expensive than booking one family room with two double beds.
We have put together a list of the best luxury London hotels with two double-bed family rooms, which will enable you to book a luxury stay and all stay in one room without breaking the bank.
1. Corinthia London
Our first pick is the Corinthia London. We stayed here in 2025 in their family room with two double beds pictured above. This hotel is brilliant because it is easy to walk to, being just moments from the nearest station. It’s just a short, family-friendly walk from Waterloo Station and steps from Embankment Tube Station.
The hotel’s also right on the banks of the Thames, which means you can spend evenings strolling along the banks of the river, taking in the views of the London Eye, or you can take a quick trip on an Uber Boat along the Thames to explore the twinkling light show at Canary Wharf.
The Corinthia London has a beautiful historic facade and exterior. Just inside, the foyer is decorated with majestic floral arrangements and a grand piano. The hotel’s classical interior features polished marble, plush textures and furnishings, ever-changing floral displays, and plentiful sparkling chandeliers.

All guests enjoy complimentary access to ESPA Life at Corinthia. Deep inside the spa, you’ll find a brilliant 30-foot swimming pool. The temperature is deliciously relaxing, and children can enjoy it with their parents twice daily during family swim times. We found the staff to be amazing with the kids, too, and we appreciated the little teddies and gifts we placed in the room for our arrival.

The hotel’s fabulous triangular design means that rooms face inwards, overlooking the courtyard with the orb chandelier visible through a window from above, or overlook Whitehall Place and Northumberland Avenue. The soundproofing is excellent, and the rooms have no road noise. Wide corridors connect all rooms, and interconnecting rooms are available. Family rooms with two double beds are also available and are reasonably priced for a hotel of this caliber.

In the morning, The Northall served an impressive buffet breakfast offering spread across two rooms, with fresh banana breads, muffins, pastries, yogurts, fresh fruits, cereals, juices, coffees, teas, waters, and more. If you fancy a cooked breakfast there’s a great menu selection available with eggs done in any number of ways, crepes, waffles, pancakes, French toast, as well as Full English breakfast and vegetarian alternatives throughout.

The Secret Smokehouse Salmon was incredible for me but there are plenty of kids options too. The golden pancake stacks my daughter devoured were something else, huge and fluffy with the sweetest berries and syrup on the side. If you book a stay here via our luxury travel concierge, you will enjoy complimentary breakfast, hotel credit, a prioriized room upgrade, and more.
The family two double room, pictured above, usually starts at around £1,600 GBP per night.

Review: Corinthia London
Corinthia London has one of the best ESPA Spas in the world and three excellent restaurants. Its afternoon teas are delivered under a sparkling chandelier, and you are steps from the River Thames, with the West End just a short walk away. If London was a board game, Corinthia London would be prime real estate! The hotel is just a short, suitcase-friendly walk (even with small children in tow!) from Waterloo Station and moments from Embankment Tube Station, providing easy access to the rest of London. The hotel is steps from some of the capital's most iconic landmarks like Big Ben, St.
2. Hotel Cafe Royal
Located on Regent Street in the heart of London’s West End, Hotel Café Royal sits between Mayfair and Soho, just steps from Piccadilly Circus and some of the city’s best shopping, dining, and theatres. For kids, Hamleys, the largest toy store in London, is within a five-minute walk. Despite its vibrant surroundings, the hotel offers a tranquil retreat within its historic walls.

The hotel’s serene Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is tucked away underground, home to a stunning 18-meter (60-foot) lap pool. Framed by soft ambient lighting, sleek marble, and soothing neutral tones, the pool area feels like a hidden sanctuary—perfect for a quiet swim or a moment of relaxation away from the city buzz. It’s also brilliant to have access to a pool if you’re traveling with a family, so this is a major plus for Hotel Cafe Royal.

Families of four can book the Junior Suite, which is 560 ft² and has a king size bed and a sofa bed for the kids. This room usually starts at around £1,000 GBP per night.

3. JW Marriott Grosvenor House London
JW Marriott Grosvenor House London is located on Park Lane in Central London, with a distinguished setting within the upscale neighborhood of Mayfair. Park Lane is just moments from Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, and more. For families, it is brilliantly located just across the road from London’s Regents Park, where you can go and feed the ducks and walk around the lake. The lack of vehicles in all but the edge of this park means it offers a great place for the kids to run about.

The family room has two double beds and is one of the best value five star hotels in central London with this option. Kids will also appreciate delicious dining at JW Steakhouse, which makes burger and chip-type dishes. If you can, the whole family would enjoy the brilliant club lounge on the ground floor, offering food and drink throughout the day.

The JW Marriott Grosvenor House London club lounge is particularly excellent here. Although this lounge does not have windows, the interior design is so pleasing that I didn’t notice the lack of natural light. One unusual feature is the slight rumble of tube trains passing below occasionally, reminding guests that they’re in the heart of London.

The food offerings remain generous throughout the day, with cakes, cookies, and scones with jam and cream (see pictures below). I recommend the lemon drizzle cake—it is good enough to merit a second slice. There is also an all-day snack offering of nuts, smarties, sweeties, and crisps.

The morning spread includes scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, cereal, and hot porridge. The main island area showcases an array of pastries, fruit, charcuterie, and cheeses. Actimel drinks, yogurts, juices, and coffees are also on offer. The breakfast is self-service, but there is plenty of room, and collecting the food is enjoyable.
In the evening, a filling array of meal choices is available. For example, on Friday night, the food included a tasty vegetable noodle dish in soy sauce, lamb curry with rice, a cold noodle salad, cheeses, bread, and crackers, followed about an hour later by some slices of deliciously good cake.

Review: Club Lounge at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London

Throughout the day, there is a large selection of teas, coffees, still and sparkling water, Britvic juices, and Pepsi. In the evening, there is an additional selection of wines, champagne, and bottles of Stella Artois. All the alcoholic drinks are free and were still available at 9:30 pm, unlike other executive lounges in London that limit drinks to very early happy hour times.
The lounge at the JW Grosvenor House falls in our top 3 best executive lounges in London, alongside that of the Langham London and the Intercontinental Park Lane lounge. The JW lounge’s advantage over its competition is that you can gain access purely because of your Marriott status (free access is gained if you hold Gold or Platinum status). To access the executive lounges of the Intercontinental and Langham, you must pay for a high-end room or an additional fee to gain access, regardless of your status.
The Family Room with two double beds starts at around £650 GBP per night. Book this room with our luxury travel concierge, and you will get extra complimentary benefits, including breakfast. You will also get all your usual Marriott Bonvoy points and status benefits if you book with us.

4. Sheraton Grand London Park Lane
Sheraton Grand London Park Lane offers an Art Deco family suite with club lounge access. It has one king bed and can fit two rollaway beds which each currently cost £80 GBP per night. This is a great hotel with a great club lounge and it is brilliantly located opposite Green Park, just up the road from Regents Park and Buckingham Palace, a short walk to Hamleys and the West End. It’s generally walkable to everything.

This Sheraton also offers a beautiful setting. Its Art Deco Foyer stretches through the building, where jazz and harp music are played (live). The main restaurant is great and has an outdoor terrace. The rooms are stylish and generous in size.

The club lounge is on the ground floor and offers plenty of space and an array of food. It is a classy space with classy guests. This family suite is well worth the price tag of around £850 GBP per night, and Luxury Travel Diary’s editorial team highly recommends the whole hotel.

5. The Westin London City
From its prime vantage on the banks of the River Thames, The Westin London City Hotel by Marriott offers amazing views and a great location from which to explore the South Bank and the city of London. This hotel is less well located for shopping and the West End and is a long walk from the nearest London park, but it is close to the River Thames and offers a brilliant deal.
Westin London City is located just steps from St Pauls Cathedral in the heart of the city of London. Mansion House Tube Station is steps away, even nearer than St Pauls Cathedral! This hotel’s proximity to the tube station is great if ou are travelling with kids as you can get around London easily by tube without too much walking for little legs. London Bridge and the Tower of London can both be easily reached on foot, as can the popular Sky Garden, which offers spectacular city views.
The Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe both lie directly opposite the hotel on the South Bank of the River Thames. London Waterloo is the nearest large mainline railway station, and the nearest airport is London City Airport, which is 11 km from the hotel.

The hotel opened in 2021. The hotel has two entrances on opposite sides of the hotel: the south entrance is near the river, and the north entrance is very close to Mansion House underground station.
The Westin London City Hotel has 225 guest rooms, suites, and residences. All the rooms have their Westin Heavenly Beds, ultra-sleek bathrooms, and all the usual amenities you would expect: robes, slippers, tea and coffee-making facilities, and USD ports by the beds.

The size of even the Classic rooms is really impressive for central London. This is a great hotel if you like your space. We loved how the Signature Room (next level up) also comes in a two double bed (Signature Family) option. This is surprisingly hard to find in luxury central London hotels, and our room had plenty of space for a desk, armchair, and lots of room for cases and for us all to spread out.
If you book a club room, you can access the Westin London City club lounge, which we have reviewed in detail and which is well worth a visit. This is one of the best executive club lounges in London.

As soon as I think about the facilities at the Westin London City, my mind drifts to the spa! Follow that White Tea scent. The 12-metre basement swimming pool is a complete delight for families: large, gently lit, and serene, with a hot tub at one end and day beds and loungers along one side. Alternating between a relaxing dip and reading poolside was a lovely way to ease my city-tired muscles. There’s also a steam room and sauna, a sensory shower, a vitality pool, and an ice fountain, as well as five treatment rooms and a relaxation area.

Signature family guest rooms with two double beds start at under £500 GBP per night, and if you upgrade to a top-floor two-double bed room, the cost is usually under £500 GBP. This is definitely one of the best deals in London for families looking for a luxury stay at a reasonable price.

6. Sea Containers London
Sea Containers London lies on the banks of the iconic River Thames in the heart of London’s fabulous South Bank area. You are minutes on foot from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Carry on your riverside stroll, passing buzzing Gabriel’s Wharf and the book market hiding under Waterloo Bridge, and reach the London Eye. Then, cross one of the many bridges, and the likes of Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Covent Garden can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes.

London Waterloo Railway and underground station is a 10-minute walk away, with Southwark and Blackfriars stations both being a couple of minutes nearer, but the beauty of this location is just how much you can explore on foot.

The charm of Sea Containers is the feeling that you’re aboard a 1920s transatlantic cruise liner whilst also stumbling upon a cosmopolitan London hotel! The hotel offers spacious rooms with two double beds, something of a rarity in five-star hotels in London! They are amazing value, too, for those traveling with families.

All the usuals like air-con, a minibar, and a Nespresso machine were present too, as were USD sockets and Malin+Goetz toiletries. Request a river view room to enjoy fabulous views across London, which are particularly impressive by night. If budget permits, the Riverview Balcony Suite with wall-to-wall windows and a stunning furnished balcony with epic views across the River Thames. It would be amazing for a memorable trip.
Pricing for the two double bedded family rooms starts at about £450 GBP per night and are worth every penny.

7. St. Ermin’s Hotel, Autograph Collection® Hotels
St. Ermin’s Hotel Autograph Collection® Hotels offers a Deluxe guest room with two double beds for under £600 GBP per night. This hotel is well located for London’s parks, the River Thames, is just up the road from the River Thames and is walkable to Hamleys toy store, although you’ll need a pushchair that that trek as it sits further from Regent’s Street than most of the other hotels we’ve featured above.
8. London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square
London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square is walkable to Regents Street for Hamleys toy shop and is close to Regents Park and Selfridges Store. Soho and the West End are a 20 to 30-minute walk, and the River Thames with its attractions is quite a long walk away too, but this hotel does have well-priced two double-bedded rooms for under £800 GBP per night for the four of you.
9. Conrad London
Family rooms at the Conrad London include one king bed and one single bed, so they are ideal for families of 3 but not families of four. Families of four need to book two connecting rooms featuring one king-sized bed and two twin beds, as well as special children’s amenities, bed linen, bean bags, plus a selection of treats to make them feel special.
This hotel does go all out with the family connecting rooms as they decorate them beautifully with a teepee and twinkly lights, and they have murals on the walls. The children’s room also offers an accessible bathroom with child-friendly amenities. Children staying at the Conrad can have ice cream anywhere, anytime in any of the restaurants or bars, and even on room service for free, which is a really nice touch.

If you want to splurge, book these two rooms with Conrad London club access so that you’ve got all your food and drink covered during your stay too. We’ve reviewed the Conrad London club lounge separately so you can see in detail why it’s worth paying the extra to have access to this lounge.
The pricing for one of these connecting room combinations starts at around £600 GBP per night.
10. EDITION London
EDITION London is not a cheap option in London if you are traveling with two children, but their two-bedroom loft suite is great. This suite offers one king bedroom and one queen bedroom and costs around £1,500 per night.
