The facilities and support you receive from your knowledgeable trek team is second to none, and although perhaps not as challenging as some of their other treks, you will still find it physically demanding. The trek itself involves a long hike through sometimes rocky and steep terrain, with magnificent views of some of the world’s highest mountains, including Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Altitudes are high, and so good physical condition is a must, but the guides really make you feel comfortable, regardless of your pace. 4. Short Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

This four day trek is ideal for introducing you to the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal. The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is one of the shorter and easier treks, beginning in Kathmandu and ending in Pokhara with a wonderful farewell meal. The drive is 6 hours of stunning lush green landscapes and mountains before arriving at Pokhara. From here the adventure continues with a drive to Banthani for your 3-hour trek to Ghorepani. Making your way through rhododendron lined forests, you’ll encounter traditional villages and have the opportunity to interact with the local people before reaching the Poon Hill – a break-taking spot to watch the sun rise and set over the extraordinary Himalayan range. 5. Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

The most luxurious way of experiencing Nepal has to be by helicopter. The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is just perfect for getting a bird’s eye view of the mountain terrain – including Mount Everest. 6. Jungle Safari Tour in Bardiya National Park

Your six day Jungle Safari Tour in Bardiya National Park begins and ends in Kathmandu. Including all your airport, hotel transfers, and park entrance fees (as per itinerary), you are transferred in nice small groups by private vehicle to this unspoiled wilderness of grassland and forest. One of the largest parks in Nepal, it is also one of the most undisturbed national parks in the country, home to endangered swamp deer, wild elephants, Royal Bengal tigers, and the greater one-horned rhinoceros. If you are looking for a unique jungle adventure, then this tour is for you – engage in a day of bird watching and even accompany your expert guide on a tiger-tracking expedition!

7. Manaslu Circuit Trek

Walking on average 6 to 7 hours a day the carefully planned Manaslu Circuit Trek is a fast-paced trek to Manaslu Base Camp. One of the more ‘off the beaten track’ treks, this takes you into the most lusciously green forests and alpine meadows. You will also visit Birendra Lake and cross the truly breathtaking Larkya La Pass, one of Nepal’s longest and most spectacular passes. Not for the faint-hearted, it’s one of the more challenging treks offered by Green Society Adventure Pvt. Ltd., both from a stamina and acclimatization perspective. Rest assured, the guides and porters are there to assist every step of the way.

The well-deserved down time at the very end in Kathmandu is a most welcome day of rest.

10. Upper Dolpo Trek

A tougher 24-day trek in group sizes of 2 to 8 people, the Upper Dolpo Trek takes you through the more rugged side of Nepal. This restricted area trek is a more remote experience through local Tibetan villages and forests. The absolute highlight has to be the visit to Phoksundo Lake – a stunning turquoise lake nestled in the heart of the Dolpo region. The deepest lake in Nepal, it is considered one of the most beautiful and serene lakes in the Himalayas, as it mystically changes color throughout the day. Definitely a spot for picture-taking!
