Location

Fusion Original Saigon Centre Hotel is located in the heart of Saigon. Occupying a prime position inside the prestigious Saigon Centre and Takashimaya Shopping Mall in the heart of Saigon’s city center, it rises above the busy streets and offers an oasis of calm, with incredible views and a rooftop pool.

Style & Character

The hotel’s unmistakable identity transports guests on a unique voyage of discovery inspired by and designed for the city’s creative community. When you enter the hotel through its glass doors, you are immediately engulfed in a festival of multicolored lighting and charming style. The hall leading to the hotel is lit in warm purples, but as you enter the foyer, you are blasted with a contemporary and autumnal pallet of lighting and deep red walls. The interior designer who created the atmosphere of the foyer was not afraid to be bold. As a result, guests can enjoy a completely unique space with seating, tables, and underlit black and white staircases. This fun ambiance is your first introduction to this boutique hotel.

Rooms

Fusion Original Saigon Centre boasts 99 rooms and suites with warm wooden furniture tastefully blended with old-world bronze. This creates a welcoming environment of muted grandeur. The room color scheme has a delicious hot “chocolate with marshmallows” theme with chocolate brown wood furnishings and sofas sprinkled with marshmallow pink cushions. The views are dramatic as the rooms are up high, and detailing on the ceiling and behind the bed softens the modernity of the building and gives the rooms a contemporary but traditional feel.

Golden bedside tables, vases, and lamps, along with lots of circles found in the rugs, cushions, tables, and lamps, remind me of the cabin of a historic cruise ship, although this particular “ship” is hovering over the heart of Saigon.

Service & Facilities

Wellness is important here and the spa is set in a room decorated in shades of cream with airy linens draped to provide privacy.

There’s a Reload Pantry on every floor with treats, snacks, drinks, and Barista coffees, and a fully equipped wellness center for guests to work out. The gym is also important here and offers a boxing ring for those who fancy a wrestle or flexing their muscles.

The rooftop pool is not to be missed with azure blue waters, loungers that dip their toes into the water, and views across the city. We particularly like the enchanting greenery which envelopes the pool. Rows of neat bushes and swaying palms soften the stark rooftop giving the space a relaxing garden feel.

Food & Drink

The hotel offers two dining options: Miss Thu captures the spirit of contemporary Saigon while raising a respectful hat to the historic provenance of this celebrated city. Always at the forefront of epicurean trends, the Vietnamese flavours that form the cornerstone of Miss Thu’s outstanding menu are embellished by exceptional dishes drawing on international and cosmopolitan influences. The second dining option is Nest, the exclusive guest lounge tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, serving a daily refreshing selection of savories and healthy treats alongside freshly-squeezed juices and detox drinks. The cocktails at the hotel bar are excellent, and fun muted lighting makes the bar a fun place to hang out.
