Best Club Or Executive Lounge In Florence

Which is the best club or executive lounge at the best luxury hotels in Florence? Usually, the Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental offer the best club lounge in a city or resort, but there is no Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental in Florence. You are therefore left with a rather limited selection of hotels in Florence with club lounges which I have outlined below.

If you’re a luxury traveler, we recommend trying the impressive Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. This Four Seasons is outstanding if a club lounge isn’t a deal breaker. Housed in the city’s largest private garden, a tranquil haven of statues, fountains and centuries-old trees, with suites that enjoy ancient frescoes lining the walls amid original architectural features, this hotel is very special. Add in its Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired Spa, just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence and you will discover a very special Four Seasons outpost.

You may or may not know that if you book a stay at any luxury hotel in Florence using an official Preferred Partner agent like our luxury travel concierge, you will get two free breakfasts along with other fantastic benefits such as a delicious welcome gift, a prioritized room upgrade (subject to availability) and $100 resort credit.

We offer free upgrades, free breakfasts, and free perks at almost all luxury hotels (and you can also collect your usual Marriott Bonvoy Hyatt, etc., points and status benefits on bookings made with us too). See what our clients say about us and how thrilled they are with the extra benefits we provide.

1. Best Club Lounge: Hilton Florence Metropole

There is a Westin and a St. Regis in Florence but neither has a club lounge, although they are decent hotels. We reviewed St. Regis Florence last summer.

The only hotel our research bought up with an executive club lounge is the Hilton Florence Metropole, and this is not a luxury hotel. This fairly basic hotel is located in Florence’s west district, four kilometers from Florence Airport and six kilometers from Firenze Santa Maria Novella rail station. There is a shuttle service to the center and there are Executive floors. The club lounge offers breakfast and evening snacks, but a luxury traveler would be disappointed by the location and lack of luxury at this hotel.
