Book A Stay

Siem Reap in Cambodia is a magical place to visit, it’s the gateway town to the epic temples of Angkor Wat and is itself a delightful place. Avoid the crowds at a serene and luxurious boutique hotel, and where better than the newly refurbished Heritage Suites Hotel.

Location

The hotel is perfectly located to explore this magnificent area; you are in the heart of Siem Reap, just minutes away from the majestic Angkor temples. It’s very convenient to get to Siem Reap as it has its own airport, Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport. You can fly into here directly from Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai in China or Kuala Lumpur. The airport, is 8 kms from the heart of Siem Reap and from the hotel and takes around 15 minutes by taxi.

You definitely want to visit Siem Reap and Angkor in the dry season which falls between late November and early April. The nicest months weather-wise are December and January when there’s the least rainfall and temperatures are slightly cooler, but, these lower temperatures also bring the most visitors, and the temples can be packed so going very slightly out of peak season can be a good thing.

Style & Character

This sophisticated and gorgeous hotel is tucked behind a grand French-style colonial façade which lies nestled amidst lush tropical gardens. Most excitingly is the recent, impressive refurb of the gorgeous suites.

Always a classy and chic hotel with strong Cambodian influences in its style, it has now been elevated into something even more special. The refurb included the launch of the Colonial Pool/ Jacuzzi Suites which are the top rooms to stay in if your budget stretches

Service & Facilities

Despite its intimate size, the facilities here are exceptional. The Heritage in-house Spa by Bodia boasts 3 luxurious treatment rooms (one of which is a couples room) and after a day on your feet sightseeing, your limbs will thank you for paying a visit here!

After your treatment, relax in the steam baths, rain showers, or oversized bathtubs, or alternatively, head to the hotel’s saltwater pool and let the poolside bar serve you a chilled beverage or two. Be sure to return at night too, when the pool is beautifully and very romantically lit, Tuesdays and Saturdays there’s poolside entertainment and the poolside gazebo can be booked for the ultimate meal for two.

For some assistance with the best places to visit and how to get around, the Heritage Adventures Tour Office are the people to talk to. They offer a full range of tailor-made excursions designed for the luxury traveler. Many other charming little touches truly elevate this hotel; all the rooms have in-room espresso machines. The tea facilities define the very art of tea making, and the reception service is 24/7.

Unsurprisingly with services like these, the service you receive is impeccable. Very attentive though never intrusive, the service is personalized, warm, and super friendly!

Rooms

Stay in one of 6 intimate rooms or, more excitingly, one of 20 refurbished suites. The Bungalow Suites enjoy private walled gardens, a steam room, and an oversized stone bathtub. Or there’s the heavenly new Colonial Suites where you can choose from either a large outdoor jacuzzi or an 8 meter lap pool next to your private terrace. These suites also have the steam room and oversized stone bathtub and would definitely get our vote!

To really stretch out in a home-from-home villa, there’s The Residence, a vast space where you have your own outdoor jacuzzi, private pool, thatched-roof outdoor sala living space, and private walled garden; one problem. You’ll never want to leave!

Food & Drink

You are spoilt when it comes to food and drink too, the hotel offers a collection of dining destinations at four very different restaurants and bars, with a focus on flavor discovery and adventure dining. The Heritage Restaurant was voted one of 2015’s Top Fine Dining Restaurants by Trip Advisor and is the place to go in Siem Reap for an ultra-stylish evening. Located on the mezzanine, The Heritage Restaurant serves an inventive mixture of Cambodian and Mediterranean flavors. The Bamboo Bar serves local plant and flower-based cuisine surrounded by a tropical garden, and the rare insect discovery menu every Tuesday is worth sampling too! Finally, guests can enjoy viewing works of art and fine wines during the Art & Wine Exclusive Khmer Art Expo which showcases a Nikkei Khmer-Japanese cuisine and wine menu selection.

Conclusion

We love this hotel because of its incredible facilities, delicious cuisine, stunning, luxurious style, and those Pool Suites.
