Book A Stay

If the grey skies and piles of work are bringing you down, Key West offers an idyllic weekend getaway – warm weather, crystal clear water, and romantic sunsets. However, I’m sure you also know that these destination traits aren’t unique to Key West alone. What is, though, is the charm, character, and quintessential 1950s vibe of Ibis Bay Beach resort.

Style & Character

Ibis Bay is not your run-of-the-mill chic resort – not the cookie-cutter classy you’ll find in Palm Beach. Ibis is different in a refreshing way. It’s disarmingly funky. It’s where 1950s Havana meets modern amenities, and rooms are colorfully decorated with classic Key West and Cuban art, including private hammocks and garden areas.

Service & Facilities

The resort’s private white sand beach is one of the largest on the island and has direct water access. There’s a private boat ramp for guests. Ibis Bay is also the ONLY provider of Nightboarding tours in the Florida Keys. Night-boarding is a new adventure where guests can take a nighttime tour of the Key West island on paddle-boards and clear-bottom kayaks equipped with super bright LED lights that illuminate the amazing underwater wildlife that comes out at night.

Food & Drink

The Stoned Crab restaurant, rated Key West’s second hottest restaurant by Zagat, is the only place in Key West where guests can see their dinner go from the fishing boat to the kitchen to their plate (same-day fish!). Three Hands Fish commercial fishermen deliver their day’s catch to the Market, where a portion is immediately sold to The Stoned Crab; restaurant chefs cook-to-order the just-caught fish in various ways, including one newly introduced technique outlined below. Caught at 7:00 am, delivered to the restaurant at 11:00 am, and served at 1:00 pm – no fish is fresher than The Stoned Crab’s fish!

Moreover, The Stoned Crab now offers their “Whole Fish Dining Experience for the adventurous dinner.”

For guests looking for a safe ride home after a night out on Duval St. (Key West’s equivalent of Bourbon St.), Ibis Bay offers complimentary shuttle rides on their “Life’s Too Short Bus.”

Conclusion

For 1950’s glamour with modern luxuries, the Ibis Bay Beach resort is a great choice.
