Megève is home to The Mont d’Arbois Golf Course (Golf du Mont d’Arbois) was designed in 1964 by three-time British Open champion Sir Henry Cotton, making it one of the oldest and finest alpine golf courses in the world. The 18-hole course is on a south-facing plateau at an average altitude of 1,320 meters (4,331 feet). However, its uniform gradient makes it feel as though you’re playing on a flatland course.
