I recently shared pictures of the Aspire Airport lounge in Terminal 5. I haven’t, until now, covered the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 2. You can judge for yourself whether it is worth stopping by. This lounge is conveniently located at Terminal 2 Arrivals Hall. You get free access through Priority Pass or by having an American Express Platinum card.

The Plaza Premium Lounge Terminal 2 Arrivals Lounge is designed to help business travelers hit the ground running after arriving in London on a long-haul red-eye flight early in the morning. It includes a reviving shower and a healthy and nutritious breakfast – based on the idea that this is the ultimate way to kick-start a busy day and freshen up after a flight.

The contemporary Arrivals lounge has plenty of space to relax or work with complimentary Wi-Fi and plenty of plug sockets for tablets, laptops, and mobile phones. The look is Asian, with stylish tans and metallics offset with natural wood countertops. The feel is modern but natural.

There are plenty of bar stools by the countertop to one side and cafe seating opposite wall seating on the other. Some drinks are included, but the free alcoholic offerings are limited, with premium brands costing extra. The menu is, however, very decent, with nice portions of food being delivered, so if you are hungry after your flight, it is worth stopping in this lounge to have a bite while catching up on emails or the day’s news.

There are also decent showers and even sleep rooms (extra charge) here if you want to freshen up after your flight.

Plaza Premium Lounge Power Breakfast starts from £25 GBP for one hour’s access and includes lounge access, a shower, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. Bookings can be made online. I accessed the lounge using my Priority Pass.
