Book A Stay

Hidden in the vine-covered hills of Napa Valley, Vista Collina is an extensive and upscale resort with a beautiful pool and its own tasting village where you can sample wines and brews. For food, you can visit the onsite farm-fresh artisanal market, and a very special way to end your day is at this hotel is by enjoying a private concert on their Village Lawn.

Location

Vista Collina is around 8 kilometers from the center of Napa, and all the Napa attractions, including Oxbow Public Market and the Napa Valley Wine Train are 10-minutes away by car. San Francisco Airport, Oakland International Airport, Sacramento International Airport and Napa County Airport are all easily accessible from the resort. You are neatly situated to explore the wine countries of both Napa Valley and Sonoma County here and there is so much to do in the area; with premier golf courses, art, culture, and breathtaking hot air balloon rides over miles of rolling vineyards.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit Napa is August to October or March to May. Napa’s high season happens during the wine harvest season which is August to October. In high season expect crowds and higher prices.

How To Get There

You will need a car rental to get to and from Vista Collina resort as there is no public transport nearby.

Style & Character

The resort has a Mediterranean style. The highlight for many visitors is the tasting rooms that open up to the expansive lawn area scattered with chairs designed from wine barrels, artisan markets, games, and occasional concerts.

In the evenings, this lawn area is particularly inviting as it is dotted with strings of twinkling lights, which are a delight to sit under as the sun goes down. The resort is also designed around the centerpiece pool, offering an ideal place to relax and indulge.

Service & Facilities

At the center of the resort is a beautiful pool and jacuzzi with ten luxury cabanas. For fitness, there’s a fitness center and motion studio. For events, you can enjoy Napa Valley’s most expansive meeting space, ideal for groups who want to mingle, indulge and drink in the vineyard views.

Rooms

145 Tuscan-inspired rooms include 39 suites with fully-equipped kitchens. Room categories include Premier King or Double Queen, Deluxe King or Double Queen, and One-Bedroom Suites. All rooms have Frette linens and HD TV with Chromecast, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO GO capabilities. Balconies are large and offer views of the rolling hills covered in vineyards.

Best Rooms

While the rooms are large and luxurious, and perfect for couples, one-bedroom suites are ideal for families and offer a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room table for four.

Food & Drink

Unusually, Vista Collina doesn’t have a main restaurant onsite. Instead, you can go to Fivetown Grocery for breakfast sandwiches with delicious fillings, including eggs, sausage, bacon, and ham, served on a variety of breads. You can also enjoy pastries and hot drinks here. Gourmet sandwiches are available throughout the day and can be enjoyed on picnic tables in front of the market or on the lawn.

Across the road at Vista Collina’s sister property, The Meritage Resort and Spa, is Siena restaurant which is ideal if you are looking for a full-on meal out.
