Book A Hotel

Which Marriott Bonvoy hotel is the best in Paris, France? We have already reviewed the hotel with the best club lounges in Paris and the best luxury hotels with pools in Paris, now we look at the best Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Paris.

The Marriott Bonvoy portfolio includes The Luxury Collection, St. Regis, Westin, W Hotels, EDITION, Sheraton, and the Four Points by Sheraton, as well as Marriotts, JW Marriotts, Courtyard by Marriott, and more. Executive lounge access is a perk afforded to top-level Platinum Elite members.

Interestingly, there’s no Ritz-Carlton in Paris, and there’s no St Regis in Paris either. Still, there are excellent Luxury Collection Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Paris as well as an excellent W. Our luxury travel concierge offers free benefits at all of these luxury Marriott hotels. We also provide free perks at the Ritz Paris, which we have outlined in position 10 of our listing below.

Unfortunately, unlike the name suggests, this is not a Ritz-Carlton hotel and is not part of the Marriott Bonvoy brand. I have purely highlighted this hotel at the end of our list as it is a superb hotel with a confusingly similar name to Ritz-Carlton.

1. Bvlgari Paris

The Bvlgari Hotel Paris is a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of the prestigious Triangle d’Or in Paris. Designed by the renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the hotel blends contemporary design with timeless elegance, reflecting the essence of the Bvlgari brand, which falls under the Marriott umbrella.

The hotel has a prime location on the prestigious Avenue George V, opposite Four Seasons Paris which is one of the best Four Seasons in the world. It offers guests easy access to Paris’s most iconic landmarks, including the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. The surrounding area is also home to high-end boutiques, fine dining establishments, and cultural attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

The Bvlgari Hotel Paris boasts a range of exquisite accommodations, including spacious rooms, suites, and signature suites, each meticulously designed to provide the utmost comfort and sophistication. Guests can expect sleek contemporary furnishings, luxurious marble bathrooms, and state-of-the-art amenities, ensuring a truly indulgent stay.

The hotel’s culinary offerings are equally impressive, with a selection of dining options curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito. Guests can enjoy innovative Italian cuisine at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, or unwind with cocktails and light bites at the Bvlgari Bar, which features an elegant outdoor terrace overlooking the hotel’s lush private garden and is one of the best lounge bars in Paris.

In addition to its luxurious accommodations and dining options, the Bvlgari Hotel Paris offers a range of amenities and services designed to enhance the guest experience. These include a serene spa and wellness center, featuring a pool, sauna, and treatment rooms offering a variety of indulgent therapies and massages.

2. Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel

Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris is one of the best Marriott hotels in Paris. It offers a Pierre-Yves Rochon-designed hotel experience and embraces the art deco and glamor of the 1920s.

Prince de Galles is located in the extremely smart Eighth Arrondissement of Paris. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is posh, and this hotel is in fine company with plenty of other equally luxurious hotels in the vicinity. Stay here, and you will find yourself next door to the ultra-luxury Four Seasons Hotel George V, as well as high-end boutiques and trendy restaurants. Just a few steps from the hotel is the iconic Champs-Elysée, and the Arc de Triomphe is about a 10-minute walk away, with the Eiffel Tower being around 20 minutes away on foot.

Rooms and suites are immaculately designed and appointed with home-like comforts; many offer sweeping views of the Paris skyline. While the base rooms are fairly small for a luxury hotel, the art deco theme is continued in the rooms with lots of mirrors, colors, and deco detailing, so you do feel like you are in glamorous Paris rather than in a generic hotel room.

The property has two restaurants, Bar Les Heures and Le Patio. Le Patio is particularly lovely and is located in a central courtyard offering palm trees and a decked terrace. Because this terrace is open air, this is a massive highlight if you visit Paris in the warmer season, from late spring through to early fall.

Within the hotel, there is also a high-quality gym and a spa known as the Wellness Suite by Olivier Lecocq. The spa also features a hammam.

3. Dokhan’s, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Dokhan’s, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is one of the best Marriott boutique hotels in Paris if you want a real taste of the City of Light.

This beautiful but tiny hotel is utterly charming with wonderful staff. With just 45 rooms, the hotel is located in what used to be a mansion sandwiched on the road between the Arc de Triomphe and the Trocadero. Crucially, it is a short stroll from many significant sights, and the nearest Metro station is easy to get to and from. There are also plenty of local restaurants nearby to grab a bite to eat.

Small but almost perfect rooms and suites emulate chic Parisian apartments, with home-like amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, pillowtop beds, complimentary smartphone usage, and premium Carita toiletries.

Have a seat in a velvet armchair and sip a drink at Bar Le Dokhan’s, Paris’ first cocktail bar. This Marriott-branded hotel does not have a club lounge but offers delightful Parisian charm and history. The restaurant serves a tremendous Parisian continental breakfast in the mornings and then transforms into a champagne bar in the evenings.

Pick a suite on the upper floors and wake up to a wonderful Eiffel Tower view. Stay here, and you will know that you are in Paris. There’s no mistaking the feel of this hotel, and that’s what makes it so unique.

4. Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris

Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris is nestled within a rare green oasis near the Champs-Élysées, in the fashionable 8th arrondissement.

Celebrating the 20th Century’s most celebrated names in decorative arts, the hotel combines the cache of an esteemed private art collection with Parisian elegance to create an authentic and homely atmosphere.

Rooms are styled like a luxury Parisian apartment with parquet floors, decorative fireplaces, faux fur, tiger prints, and original modern art. Entry-level Superior doubles are the smallest, with a queen-sized bed, which may be a problem for some luxury travelers.

Italian marble bathrooms include a Toto toilet and Diptyque products. Rooms also have a Nespresso coffee machine and Mariage Frères tea.

5. W Paris – Opéra

W Paris – Opéra is my third-best Marriott hotel in Paris. Now, please remember that W hotels are a bit like Marmite. You either love them or hate them.

They tend to attract a younger millennial crowd and often have nightclubs and lively bars, which may or may not be what you are looking for. W Paris – Opéra is the first W Hotel in France.

This New York-style hotel combines avant-garde boutique design with the classic style of our Haussmann-era building. Stroll to the Galeries Lafayette or Louvre Museum, find the Paris Opera House across the street, or hop the Métro and hit the city’s many monuments. The W Lounge is a vibrant bar, and the hotel also offers a 24-hour fitness center with stunning views of Paris, tons of cardio equipment, and personal trainers.

The rooms are elegant, but the base “wonderful” rooms are small. They contain illustrations by Emily Forgot and feature signature W beds and special touches like Nespresso machines and Bliss® bath products. The Extreme WOW Suite with a king bed and a secret shower.

It is worth noting that if you get breakfast included, it is not great for a hotel of this caliber, although they do offer chef-prepared fresh scrambled eggs or omelets. Also, elite treatment at this Marriott Bonvoy hotel is reportedly not great, with limited upgrades provided.

6. Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel

The classic Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel has it all. It is located downtown near the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Musée d’Orsay in the heart of the ninth arrondissement on Boulevard Haussmann. It’s a five-minute walk from Galleries Lafayette and Printemps department stores and offers a nice neighborhood for local restaurants.

Beautifully designed rooms offer a range of luxury amenities, including pillowtop bedding, marble bathrooms, and 24-hour room service. Additional perks include a modern fitness center and delectable dining at the new terrace, the M Bistro.

While this hotel does have a club lounge, the lounge doesn’t have an excellent reputation and should not be a reason to select the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel. Access to an executive lounge is usually pretty valuable as it includes cocktails, wine, and beer, plus hot/cold snacks. Soft drinks are supposedly served until midnight. The reality of this lounge is not as good as it sounds.

There is little to choose from food-wise, and the quality is poor, plus there is no view from the lounge. Breakfast is a buffet affair with little choice. Low-quality bacon and sausage are the hot plates, and you get basic bread, fruit, and yogurt—a very meager spread. About the only positive is a decent coffee machine.

7. The Westin Paris – Vendôme

The Westin Paris – Vendôme is a good hotel with a great location next to the Tuileries Garden and between Louvre and Place Vendôme. Some insist that this hotel is better than Prince des Galles, which can be found in position 1 in this top 10 best review because of its fabulous location.

Unwind in classically designed rooms and suites, where Paris’ rooftops and landmarks are seen from your window. Sample the finest French and international cuisine in the hotel’s restaurants, escape to the spa or work out in the 24-hour Fitness Studio.

8. Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel

Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel is a trendy hotel located in the fashion and historic district of Paris with a spa and indoor pool. Yes, this is one of the only Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Paris with an indoor pool.

Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel was remodeled in 2018 by the famous designer Didier Gomez. It is just a few steps away from world-class boutiques and one block from Place Vendome. The Louvre Museum, the Opera Garnier, and the Tuileries Garden are also close by. This is one of the best areas of Paris to be based. You will also find the Park Hyatt nearby. The downside to this area is that there are very few local restaurants and bars, and you can be stuck eating and drinking in pricy hotels.

The hotel features a spa, a fitness center, and a heated indoor pool lit by a skylight. There’s a Mediterranean restaurant with a unique, festive ambiance. Hotel rooms feature sophisticated Parisian touches with modern amenities like marble bathrooms, luxury bedding, and 24-hour room service.

9. Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel

The modern, five-star Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel is an excellent Marriott Bonvoy hotel located within walking distance of most tourist places, but away from the busy street.

Stay here, and you will find yourself steps from the Champs Elysees, close to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Tuileries Gardens, Montmartre, and other landmarks. There are some good restaurants, and Monoprix is just moments away, and the staff here are excellent.

Modern yet comfortable rooms and suites offer views of the city and landmarks and deluxe amenities. There’s also a restaurant and a 24-hour fitness center. The advantages of the modern nature of this hotel include big elevators, good climate control, and well-designed bathrooms. Still, the building is fairly ugly from the outside, certainly not historic!

Sky View Terrace room has views of the Eiffel Tower with a beautiful big balcony. While this is not a “prime” view, as you can only see the upper part of the tower above the buildings in front, it is still worth paying the extra for. The view is also great in the other directions, up to Montmartre and across the city.

10. Ritz Paris

The Ritz Paris has been freshly restored, but just to confuse you, this is not a Ritz-Carlton hotel but is instead its own Ritz brand. This hotel is not part of Marriott but should be considered as an option when visiting Paris as it is an excellent property.

Its grand décor and intimate salons welcome guests to rediscover a unique atmosphere and the inimitable French art de Vivre. The Ritz Paris is renowned for its incomparable savoir-faire in making every visit exceptional, from Haute Cuisine by Chef Nicolas Sale to custom cocktails at the Bar Hemingway and indulgent beauty treatments at the exclusive new art of skincare area, “CHANEL au Ritz Paris.”

A favorite destination among the famous and influential, the Ritz Paris has faithfully restored the signature decors of celebrated guests in its Prestige Suites. Marcel Proust, Frédéric Chopin, Coco Chanel, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor all opted for furnishings that reflected their personality, a décor of absolute sophistication, and the tranquility of a sweeping view over the Place Vendôme.

The Gallery of the Ritz Paris runs through the hotel’s heart and connects the legendary place, Vendôme to the very chic rue Cambon. An essential feature of the hotel, this architectural treasure faces the Grand Jardin and is bathed in light by day. The new Gallery of the Ritz Paris features five boutiques, 95 shop windows, and the Concept Store.

The Ritz Paris has been awarded Michelin stars for two restaurants: La Table de L’Espadon for dinner every night, two stars Michelin (Chef Nicolas Sale) and Les Jardins de L’Espadon for lunch from Monday to Saturday, one-star Michelin (Chef Nicolas Sale)

The Ritz Club Paris has a celebrated Ritz pool, fitness facilities and the new area “CHANEL au Ritz Paris” offering deeply indulgent, restorative moments of relaxation. The pool itself is quite formal in design, deep blue with cream pillars and murals on the wall. Swim a few laps, participate in an aqua gym or water biking class, and watch as ripples of celadon become tinged with azure.

You can see the pool from the bar, so bring your best swimwear or simply gaze at the rippling blue waters from the bar over a cocktail.
