With many chain hotels slopeside or offering a free shuttle to the slopes, you can actually redeem as well as earn loyalty points and miles on your ski trip.
1. Sheraton Park City
Sheraton Park City is one of the few hotels in Park City with an executive club lounge that will give you access to snow sports in the winter and activities such as fly fishing, mountain biking and hiking in the summer.
Located about 37 miles from Salt Lake International Airport, this hotel enjoys easy access to historic Main Street, discover premier restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries. Timbers Restaurant is the perfect place for dinner or a drink to cap off the evening.
If you are heading to the slopes, the hotel is situated 1.5 miles away from the base of the Park City Village, but it has a shuttle to take you to the mountain. In addition to a club lounge, this hotel has an indoor pool.
To be honest, the reports of this club lounge aren’t great with a very basic breakfast and evening nibbles. It is still a nice freebie for Marriott Bonvoy members with Platinum or Titanium Elite status. Remember to request a room which is not facing the bus stop as these rooms suffer from noise.
Marriott’s MountainSide is one of two Marriott Vacation Club properties in Park City and is located at the base of the Park City Village, giving you ski-in/ski-out access. While this hotel does have an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, ideal for the family, it doesn’t have a club lounge. Neither does Hotel Park City, Autograph Collection, or the St. Regis Deer Valley.
