1. Airport Lounge

Hamburg’s Airport Lounge is a wonderful airy space with a hugely high roof and lovely triple if not quadruple height windows to one side of the room, which looks over the planes and tarmac.

The lounge has free soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, snacks, TV, and a selection of international newspapers and magazines. There is plenty of seating, workstations, and a separate smokers’ lounge. You can buy your way into this lounge for EUR 35 or get in free using a Priority Pass.

2. Lufthansa Business Lounge

The Lufthansa Business Lounge can be found in Hamburg airport Terminal 2, by gate A19, upstairs. Star Alliance Gold and Miles & More Senator passengers have access to this lounge.

The lounge feels rather old-fashioned and sterile, but there is plenty of seating and a big buffet in the center. The buffet contains salads, soups, and cold dishes. You can also pick up soft drinks, wines, and liquor, as well as hot drinks in this lounge.

Other amenities include newspapers and magazines and a smoking room with high tables and power outlets. A large bathroom is located in the reception area.

3. Emirates Business Lounge

They say: “Have a delicious meal, take a shower, or catch up on business. As a First Class traveler, Business Class traveler, or Skywards Gold member, you’re invited to unwind in the world-class Emirates Lounge at Hamburg.” This lounge is a little dated but is large and spread across 900 sq. m, boasting comfortable leather armchairs and great views of the airfield.

The buffet has plenty of hot and cold dishes, a wide range of self-serve alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, as well as shower facilities, massage chairs, TV, local and international newspapers and magazines, a business center, printer.
