Book A Hotel

We have reviewed hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in Israel with the best club or executive lounges to help you decide on the best choice if traveling as a couple, a family, or as a single business traveler. By reviewing each of these club lounges, in turn, I conclude which hotel club lounge comes in at the top and which hotel I would select as having the best club lounge in Israel.

Israel offers more than pilgrimages to holy places like the Dome of the Rock and the Wailing Wall. In Jerusalem, stroll Wohl Rose Garden and absorb the nocturnal light show screened on the Tower of David’s walls. Explore Tel Aviv’s galleries and museums, or take a swim in the Sea of Galilee, scuba dive in the Red Sea, or take a tour to the Dead Sea and float about in this crazily buoyant water. For action, try windsurfing off Beit Yanai Beach. The opportunities to enjoy yourself are endless!

Having already reviewed the best luxury hotels in Israel, I now detailed the best hotel executive club lounges or concierge levels in Israel.

The redesigned Club rooms on the hotel’s top floors deliver the utmost in modern urban design for the discerning traveler. Enjoy state-of-the-art interiors and a stylish marble bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. These rooms have been recently renovated and have club lounge access. They are the best ones to choose from.

Rates for these rooms include access to the exclusive Club InterContinental with private check-in and all-day refreshments. The Executive Club Level also features a business center, and the lounge offers breakfast, a selection of light snacks, cocktail hour, and a separate check-in area.

In fact, breakfast, high tea, and happy hour, during which there is self-service alcohol, are all very decent in terms of the spread of food and drinks. The service is friendly and good. The views are excellent because of the lounge being located on a high floor, so there’s a nice view of the city.

2. David Citadel, Jerusalem

Overlooking Jerusalem’s old city walls, the David Citadel hotel enjoys a stunning location in a city steeped in thousands of years of history, culture, and tradition. The timeless alleyways of the Old City, the Western Wall, and the Tower of David, the bustling Machne Yehuda market, the Mamilla Avenue, and an abundance of New City attractions are all within easy walking distance from this landmark hotel.

David Citadel Jerusalem boasts 385 impeccably designed suites and guestrooms, fine cuisine, a modernized gym, a luxurious spa, a year-round heated pool, and a private executive lounge. The hotel’s design fuses past and future, evidenced in the local-limestone walls and in the curved steel and soaring glass-domed lobby. A highlight is the al-fresco Terrace, which overlooks the ancient city walls and the Tower of David.

Diplomats, prime ministers, celebrities, and artists arrive regularly at the hotel and enjoy the luxury, elegance, and comfort the hotel offers to all its guests.

The David Citadel hotel was recently renovated under the skillful hands of world-renowned architect Piero Lissoni. The renewal of the well-established hotel included the redesign of the public spaces, suites, guest rooms, as well as the lobby, the pool, the spa, the gym, the banqueting spaces, the dining room, and the executive lounge.

This executive lounge is the best executive lounge in Jerusalem and is particularly renowned for its excellent staff. They will regularly refresh your drinks and offer food, as well as assisting in printing documents, making copies, and so forth. This is definitely one of the best executive club lounges in Israel.

The award-winning Executive Lounge at the Jerusalem David Citadel hotel is an adults-only concierge-level lounge, offering a range of complimentary benefits in a relaxed environment.

The exclusive lounge serves a breakfast buffet and a selection of hors d’oeuvres. Light dining and hot and cold beverages are available throughout the day, along with complimentary newspapers and magazines from around the world, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and a full range of business facilities.

A separated area provides the perfect space for hosting private business meetings, making it a top choice for dignitaries to meet in a more intimate atmosphere.

Mamilla Hotel’s business executive lounge is located on the entrance level and is ideal for meetings in the private conference room.

The lounge has an elegant but contemporary design offering all day long light dairy dishes, pastries, and drinks. Modern plush sofas and coffee tables blend harmoniously with the antique Chinese and object trouve, ensuring a cozy living space for a relaxing break.

4. The Vista at Hilton, Tel Aviv

The Vista at Hilton Tel Aviv is located on the top floors of Hilton Tel Aviv. The Vista offers stunning accommodations with private balconies, sweeping views over the Mediterranean Sea, personalized service in the Vista Lounge, and an exclusive top-floor retreat.

Guests have access to all Hilton Tel Aviv facilities, including a Thai spa, outdoor pool, 5 restaurants and lounges, a medical center, high-end shops, and conference facilities.

This Executive club lounge is very good and a decent size by Hilton standards. The staff are excellent, and the food is also very good, particularly their desserts.

Breakfast is Israeli style, meaning cheese but no meats. There is also a light dinner. Also on offer throughout the day are two coffee machines, orange and grapefruit juices.

5. Sheraton Tel Aviv

Sheraton Tel Aviv is a Rewards Category 6 Marriott Bonvoy hotel. It sits on a prime beachfront location, right in the heart of the Herbert Samuel Boardwalk, overlooking the Mediterranean coastline.

The hotel is within walking distance of Tel Aviv’s hotspots, artist’s quarter, and picturesque Jaffa. Enjoy their fitness room as well as the unique SPA featuring dead sea treatments. The rooms are nicely renovated with stylish wooden floors and seascape decor, and color scheme.

The 7th-floor executive club lounge at Sheraton Tel Aviv is open from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm daily and offers a decent array of food for breakfast and dinner and excellent desserts along with kosher wine and a limited hard alcohol selection. The staff here are reportedly great. There are snacks and drinks available all day and from lunchtime onward, and there is a full bar (no extra charge). There are newspapers in the lounge, and you have access to an exclusive outside balcony, but there is no seating on the balcony.

Note that this lounge, like many in Tel Aviv, has a “no children” policy.

6. Renaissance Tel Aviv Hotel

Renaissance Tel Aviv Hotel has an excellent location directly on the beach, where you can sink your toes into the warm white sand and the Mediterranean Sea. It is also within easy access to business, shopping, and entertainment.

Your comfortable air-conditioned accommodation features a private balcony with fabulous sea views, a well-lit work desk, wireless Internet, an in-room safe, and a mini-bar.

Before enjoying a hearty breakfast buffet, take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, or rejuvenate yourself in the on-site fitness gym. After a long day of meetings or sightseeing, rest your eyes or relax with a good book on our sun deck.

There is an executive club lounge here, open seven days a week, including weekends but is closed on Jewish Holidays such as Passover, Yom Kippur, and Rosh Hashana.

The lounge serves breakfast, evening snacks, and free wine, beer, and soft drinks. There are free sodas (Coke and Diet Coke, Sprite, and Diet Sprite) and bottled water throughout the day. Daytime snacks include assorted nuts, dried fruits, fresh fruit, and cookies.

It is worth noting that you have to be 18 years old or over to access this lounge.

7. Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach

This is a very standard Crowne Plaza hotel in Tel Aviv. Pleasant and clean but not noteworthy, except for the views of the beach from the room, which really are quite special.

The executive lounge is very good here for a Crowne Plaza with excellent food and a generous volume of food too. Expect breakfast, a light dinner, snacks, and drinks throughout the day.

8. Crowne Plaza Jerusalem

Crowne Plaza Jerusalem is the worst Crowne Plaza hotels in Israel with the worst club lounge in our listing. The hotel is located on a hill at the entrance to Jerusalem. The lobby is spacious with some shops, but the rooms are small and basic, and the bathroom amenities are not noteworthy either. The blackout curtains reportedly don’t work with light coming around the edge of them.

The club lounge offers drinks and light snacks but not enough to fill you up, so this hotel does not come highly recommended, even though it does have a club lounge.

The Jaffa, a Luxury Collection Tel Aviv by Marriott Bonvoy, does not have an executive club lounge. Neither does the Publica Isrotel, Autograph Collection, even though they both fall under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella. Note that The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya is one of the best luxury hotels in the whole of Israel, but it is also one of the few Ritz-Carlton hotels without an executive club lounge.
