What should you have given your family this Christmas? Beyond gifts, my husband and I gave our little family a trip to one of the best hotels in Monaco. You can see the view from our room on Instagram. Strangely, we find it the most glamorous, Christmassy place in the world. Forget the ski resorts with snow but mediocre decorations, forget the beach (that’s just wrong at Christmas right?) We like Monaco.
I feel quite strongly that once you have done the family thing, most parents and adults need a trip away.
