Ritz Carlton hotels are often some of the best Marriott Bonvoy hotels in an area, particularly if you are looking for a club lounge. St Regis and the Luxury Collection are also two of the most luxurious Marriott brands but they don’t tend to be the cheapest.

The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler is a Rewards Category 7 Marriott Bonvoy hotel and is nestled slopeside, steps away from both the gondolas and charming Whistler Village. While we don’t think this is the very best luxury hotel in Whistler (we prefer the Four Seasons), The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler does offer a great option to redeem or earn Marriott Bonvoy points in Whistler, Canada.

7. W Verbier

Verbier is located in south-western Switzerland. Travel time from Geneva is roughly two hours and Geneva Airport is served by all of the major international carriers. Private planes can land at Sion Airport, approximately 45 minutes by car from The Lodge. You can also travel by train from Geneva to the chalet which takes about 2 hours.
