We review the best executive club lounges at hotels in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and lounges at the airport DAC Dhaka, separately.

If you want to stay in luxury in Dhaka, Bangladesh, there are not many luxury options. The InterContinental Dhaka is the best 5-star hotel in Dhaka and is your best luxury hotel choice.

I have compiled a list below containing the club lounges available across luxury hotels in Dhaka and the airport. I list the lounges that I consider to be the best of the best. I will be reviewing each of these hotel club lounges in detail so that you know what you’ll get if you book a room with club lounge access or get upgraded to a club lounge for free because of your loyalty status.

1. InterContinental Dhaka

InterContinental Dhaka is probably the best luxury hotel in Dhaka and is situated in the most prestigious location in the city, near to the downtown business district, famous Ramna Park & National Museum. Built in a contemporary design, the hotel offers 226 stylish guest rooms, including 201 premium or deluxe rooms, 10 deluxe suites, 5 superior suites, 5 diplomatic suites, and 5 presidential suites.

Club InterContinental Rooms can access the Club Lounge at InterContinental Dhaka, which offers a full breakfast with buffet and hot egg items and pancakes, etc., to order, table service drinks, and evening complimentary alcoholic drinks and canapes. This club lounge is excellent, is open throughout the day with free drinks and snacks, and is the best club lounge in Dhaka.

With over 21,000 square feet of specially designed space for meetings and events, this hotel also promises flawlessly executed corporate and social events. Unrivaled facilities and amenities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool overlooking Ramna Park, a gymnasium, a steam room, a sauna, and a spa offering an extensive menu of signature therapies.

The hotel also offers dining options with an array of local and world cuisines, including indulgent all-day dining, a specialty restaurant, a café in the lobby, and a pool bar. Guests can also enjoy carefully curated cocktails and canapés at the Club bar and restaurant.

2. The Westin Dhaka

Discover Dhaka, Bangladesh from The Westin Dhaka. Located in the heart of Gulshan, Dhaka’s growing business and diplomatic district, this luxury hotel places you close to corporate offices, embassies, high-end shopping, dining, entertainment, and historical landmarks.

This hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport. If there’s no traffic, it’s about 20 minutes north of where all the touristy sites are. Expect to pay around $30 USD in a taxi to get to the airport or the tourist sights.

Rooms are spacious with a large non-traditional room design, a huge bathroom with a rainfall shower, and all rooms include the supremely comfortable Westin Heavenly® Bed. There are five restaurants and bars offering Italian to Asian food and an outdoor heated pool, fitness center, and spa.

This Westin has an executive club lounge, which is open daily for breakfast, evening drinks, and snacks and offers an excellent and extensive lounge meal, more than enough to fill you up. The service in the lounge is particularly good. Expect cheese, desserts, sushi, mini-sandwiches, several hot items, quiche, chicken wraps, calamari, chicken satay, plus pizza. Alcohol and soft drinks are also available for free.

For the Platinum Marriott Bonvoy amenity, you can have a continental breakfast in the Lounge each morning, or you can forgo your 500 points and have breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, which is truly great with Asian, Indian, and Western food options.

3. Le Méridien Dhaka

Le Méridien Dhaka is perfectly suited for business and leisure travelers alike and is actually cheaper in Marriott Bonvoy Rewards than the Westin above. This hotel is a Category 4 Marriott Bonvoy hotel, so when redeeming points, you make a significant saving by staying here over the Westin.

Le Méridien Dhaka has an unbeatable location in Bangladesh’s capital city, just two miles from Dhaka Airport, and offers spacious, tastefully designed rooms and a wealth of amenities to help you make the most of your visit. Rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi access, plush bedding, a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, and a luxurious bathroom.

Le Méridien Dhaka has a nice club lounge with breakfast, small sandwiches, cupcakes/cakes during the day and an excellent evening food spread.

The executive club lounge’s evening happy hour includes complimentary beer, wine, and spirits. Full breakfast is included for Platinum Marriott Bonvoy members in addition to free lounge access, and the breakfast is extensive and is offered in the Latest Recipe restaurant.
