Can’t quite afford Richard Branson’s flights into space? How about flying on an American Space Jet instead?
Mitsubishi Aircraft’s new SpaceJet M100 aircraft could soon be flying for American Airlines according to The Points Guy. The appeal of the plane is operating performance and for customers, “mainline comfort for regional travelers.”
The manufacturer claims the aircraft will have wider seats than other regional aircraft, and the largest overhead bins of aeroplanes in its class.
Disappointingly, although the name suggests space travel, the plane is not set to take passengers to the moon. Your only option for space travel is the Virgin Galactic Spaceplanewhich has already reached the edge of space with a passenger on board. While a trip on Virgin Galactic is not a travel bargain, if you have the money, it will undoubtedly be a once in a lifetime experience.
