Woman Tries To Open Door In-Flight On Delta: What Next?

It’s probably not the wisest thing to do during a flight, attempting to open the boarding door! Thankfully the woman who tried to do this on a recent Delta flight didn’t manage to complete her maneuver. One hates to imagine the horrific result if she had…

What actually happened was that the woman was arrested after she attempted to open the boarding door on this particular Delta flight, which was flying from Indianapolis to Detroit.

According to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport officials, the woman was restrained by other passengers until the plane landed in Michigan at about 6:45 pm Monday 18th March.

Erica Donerson, DTW spokeswoman, said in an emailed statement, said that she “may be suffering from a medical issue.”

We are big fans of Delta Airlines, if it’s good enough for former US President Jimmy Carter, it’s good enough for us. As an extra bonus, they don’t fly any B737 MAX planes. United, Southwest Airlines, and American Airlines all fly the Max, Boeing’s newest plane. I can’t think of a better reason to choose to fly on Delta airlines with its old but reliable fleet. This way, if you are worried (justified or not), you can be sure to avoid these Boeing 737 Max planes altogether.
