The Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, is one of the best luxury hotels in Paris. This luxury hotel will never make it into my list of the cheapest Four Seasons hotels in the world because Paris is expensive, and this hotel sits at the very top of the luxury options in this romantic city.
The best way to get discounts, special offers, free benefits, and ultimately the cheapest rate at any Four Seasons hotel or resort, including the Four Seasons Paris, is to never, ever book on the Four Seasons website direct. You will not get the best deal.

Get To The Four Seasons Paris
The Four Seasons Paris is located right in the center of Paris and is easy to get to via a taxi ride from Charles de Gaulle International Airport or Orly Airport. We usually recommend Blacklane because they have smart Mercedes cars and offer good value with their Blacklane discount code, which will give you money off your first ride.
As you are slap bang in the middle of Paris, you can walk everywhere.
Best Time To Visit
Paris is a year-round destination. Summer is balmy and ideal for romantic walks along the River Seine (they even make pretend sandy beaches for locals to sunbathe along the banks of the river). Autumn is misty and one of the best times to visit, with the leaves falling off the trees. Spring is known as the most romantic time of the year to visit, but it can get awfully cold in the winter in Paris, so I would always choose to visit late spring, summer, or early autumn to hedge my bets with the weather.
Why Four Seasons Paris?
The Four Seasons Paris was actually built in 1928 and is nestled in the Golden Triangle of Paris, just off the historic Champs-Elysees. This hotel is almost impossibly dreamy and romantic. The flower-filled halls, the gorgeous indoor pool, the L’Orangerie outdoor terrace, and the views straight across to the Eifel Tower. It’s perfect! The thing that Four Seasons hotels do so well is to provide a guarantee of room quality, service, and a resort of an extremely high standard, but this Four Seasons surpasses those expectations.
Rooms
Wherever you go in the world, Four Seasons rooms will be large and luxurious. The bathrooms, in particular, are always enormous, even in the base rooms. Their cheapest rooms are still of excellent size, standard, and quality. In fact, they are usually identical to the rooms with a larger price tag and are often only differentiated from each other by the view. At the Four Seasons Paris, the rooms are beautiful and historic, and if you have the funds, you MUST book a stay in their Penthouse with a stunning terrace and Eifel Tower views. I doubt there is a better place to eat your breakfast or dine under the stars in Paris!
Superior rooms are the base rooms and offer the best deal whilst still taking advantage of the incredible experience of staying at a Four Seasons hotel. They are smaller than the Delux and Premier rooms at 37-40m2 but are still classic and beautiful. The larger Delux (38-50 m²) and Premier (50-60 m²) rooms are less cheap and consequently offer an even better experience, usually on a higher floor with better views. The Premier room can also take 2 adults plus one child, which is useful if you travel with your son or daughter.
Pool & Spa
A decadent new spa and an elegant swimming pool offer up one of the best ways to spend your day in Paris.
Restaurants
L’Orangerie is my favorite place to eat at this Four Seasons hotel. This art-deco–inspired, glass-and-steel restaurant is super stylish with an airy outside-inside feel. It has one Michelin-star, and the menu is traditional French cuisine. It attracts guests and locals alike.
Le Cinq by Christian Le Squer combines classic ingredients with ambitious, new techniques and has three Michelin stars. Need I say more?
Le George is an elegant restaurant with excellent food and light Mediterranean-style cuisine.
Le Bar is one of the best bars in Paris and an ideal place to drink pre or post a meal at Le Cinq or L’Orangerie.
Is There A Club Lounge?
Four Seasons Paris does have a lounge, La Galerie Lounge to be exact, which showcases Flemish tapestries, 19th-century paintings & furniture, as well as exquisite objets d’art. This is not, however, a club lounge. This lounge is more like a bar or a lounge where you might have afternoon tea. The fundamental difference is that you have to pay for drinks and food in this lounge, unlike the offering in a club lounge where everything is free once you have paid for the access and are through the door.

Most luxury hotels have hidden travel agent loyalty programs that give you free benefits if you book with the right “Virtuoso” or hotel partner agent. In a nutshell, never, ever book on the Four Seasons website direct. The same goes for all luxury hotels, including Aman, Belmond, Langham, Leading Hotels Of The World, and more. You will not get the best deal! Book through a high-end travel agency like our own luxury travel concierge. Will There Ever Be A Four Seasons Loyalty Program?
There have been rumors wafting about regarding a consumer Four Seasons loyalty program for years. The truth is that none of these rumors have come to fruition. At least not yet! The only way to get loyalty style benefits is to book through a high-end travel agency like ours.
How About Corporate Promo Codes?
There are special corporate promo codes, so if you are an employee of a company like Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of these discounts, but these codes are not widely available to the general public. Even though there is a Four Seasons promo code box on the homepage of their website, I have yet to find anyone who has access to a discount code that can be pasted into this promo code box! In addition, the discount is unlikely to be as good as the free benefits offered by our luxury travel concierge. We suggest asking for a free quote so you can compare prices and benefits and get the full picture before booking.
You do get a discount if you are a Four Seasons resident. In this case, if you own a Four Seasons residence, you will be able to book into other Four Seasons resorts at a discounted price. Why I Love A Four Seasons Hotel
I love Four Seasons hotels, not least because they are so lovely to my own child. They seem to be designed for families while remaining a great choice for couples, too. Just look at the two pools at the Four Seasons Lanai, one allows children, but the other is a serene, peaceful place. My little boy is growing up too fast but is still welcomed with open arms across all Four Seasons hotels. I have never felt uncomfortable taking him out in the evening or fearful when I see other families at Four Seasons hotels as I have never seen a badly behaved child at a Four Seasons on all my travels – they must be worn out from having too much fun!
And when you are tired and in an unfamiliar part of the world that is far from home, a Four Seasons hotel will make you and your family feel cossetted and safe. The staff will know where the nearest pharmacy or doctor is. They will have a supply of any toiletries that you forgot. They will cater to your child who refuses to eat an egg because “there are black bits in it” (pepper), even if that means redelivering a different version of the same meal twice. They will even entertain your children at one of their many wonderful kids’ clubs, so it is a real vacation for you as well as the kids.
Four Seasons will satisfy the needs and tastes of any discerning traveler and is, without a doubt, one of the world’s best and most well-known luxury hotel brands. They will have thought of everything, and even though their environment may be slightly sanitized and have more of a Four Seasons personality than the personality of the local area, I am a major fan.
Is It Worth Booking Your Four Seasons Room Via Your Credit Card?
Credit cards sometimes offer deals at luxury hotels, but if you book through our own luxury travel concierge, your benefits are prioritized over credit card bookings. By all means, pay for your room using a credit card, but by using your credit card supplier to book your rooms, you will not get the best discount or deal.
Conclusion
Four Seasons Paris is just about perfect in every way. It is not in our list of the hotels that I consider to be the best Four Seasons hotels in the world because of its high price. You can get better value from a Four Seasons in other parts of the world, but in terms of quality and stylishness, it’s hard to beat.
