If you have been following the ups and downs of Norwegian Airlines you will know that although they offer the best Transatlantic Premium Economy, that have been having a bit of a bad time financially.

I had hoped that IAG the parent company of British Airways, would buy Norwegian, but they issued a statement to the Stock Exchange last week saying that this wasn’t going to happen.

“International Airlines Group (IAG) confirms that it does not intend to make an offer for Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (Norwegian) and that, in due course, it will be selling its 3.93% shareholding in Norwegian.”

Refinancing has kept Norwegian afloat so far, but its future remains a concern, particularly as the refinancing has increased Norwegian’s debt burden.
